The ICT Manager is a full time position designed to assist in communication and networking activities for all phases of the assigned EMPHNET’s project/s. The ICT Manager supports project needs, provides direction to the project and is responsible for the success of project activities including assisting with implementation, follow-up of activities, monitoring progress, and addressing issues as they arise. S/he provides technical and administrative assistance to EMPHNET’s projects and activities.

• Team leader of the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) unit supervising six staff members. The ICT unit is responsible for the following:
o Manage, update, promote and sustain “Sehetna” health web portal which is developed to provide accurate health information for public in Jordan, Egypt and global visitors.
o Design, update and promote “My 5-10-15” life planning tool initiative designed to help youth to plan for their future life.
o Design and update the mHealth Service, which is a SMS-based information service, developed to provide health tips through mobile devices.
o Design and update “Media Material Unit” placed at Ministry of Health (MoH) as an archiving system for all produced media materials.
o Design, develop, train and advocate for the “TANMIAH” National Decision Management tool which is developed for implementation by the Local Development Department (LDD) at the Ministry of Interior (MOI), as a decision support system for all sectors in Jordan.
• Manage, update, and train on the Arabic version of the “Strategic Communication Planning and Evaluation” (SCOPE) tool, used in the “Arab Advances in Development Communication” workshop to train health officials in communication interventions in the American University of Beirut (AUB)
• Assist in developing communication materials for different offline & online campaigns, pre-testing and monitoring specific activities.
• Conduct community based events, training events, and TOT training to educate and promote developed initiatives and tools.
• Worked as systems administrator managing and maintaining the JHCP IT infrastructure including: JHCP file Servers, Document Management System, data center tools, domain names, web hosting and email services.
