Responsibilities
Responsible for Implementing, managing and troubleshooting entire network and security high end infrastructure
including Head office, 3 branches, 16 offshore and 8 Onshore Oil & Gas Drilling Rigs.
Provide 24x7 network & security support for highly critical operational Drilling Rigs. Also, coordinate to provide
offshore network services to clients such as Shell, Dolphin, Total, Qatar Gas etc.

Responsible for Manage and administer security appliances such as Palo Alto Firewall/VPN, Cisco IronPort Web
security Proxy, ForeScout NAC, Barracuda Load balancer, Web application firewall, FireEye and MFA.
Responsible for Manage and administer network appliances such Cisco/Huawei switches, Nexus 7k core Switches,
Riverbed Wan Optimizers, AVAYA telephone system and Citrix Mobile device management (MDM).
Responsible for managing GDI Head office Datacenter and coordinate with system and application administrators
for changes/implementation.
Coordinating with offshore Satellite link provider (Ooredoo and RigNet) for the Planning and configuration of new
deployments to accommodate design plans and optimization of current network infrastructure.
Performs the critical network changes and updates s as per the change management.
Maintain inventory of network estate to include all service contracts and hardware accurately.
Reviewing Monthly IT invoices and providing feedback to superior for effective cost optimization.
Supporting superior officer for IT Capacity planning, Procurement plan and IT budgeting.
Acting as T3 Support for troubleshooting escalation issues.
Accomplishments
Migrated Head office Datacenter network to new office location with minimal downtime.
Implemented Security / Network Solutions (Palo Alto Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Forescout NAC, Cisco
IronPort WSA and SMA, FireEye ATP, Riverbed WAN Optimization, Symantec PGP and AVAYA etc.)
Migrated Head office Datacenter to new office location with minimal downtime.
Migrated VSAT network to a different service provider spanning 20 locations (From RigNet to Ooredoo with
minimal downtime.
Coordinated for building the on-premises Data center for DR location
Team member for the migration of on-premises ERP to Oracle Fusion cloud.
Designing, implementing and managing Hexaware network security infrastructure
Updating security defense in Hexaware datacenters and DMZ zones.
Creating and implementing Web security and Email corporate security policies by coordinating with InfoSec
Governance manager.
Implementing Business continuity and Disaster recovery (BCP&DRP) plans for corporate sites throughout Chennai,
Mumbai and Bangalore.
Conducting internal auditing for Hexaware SOC and Global NOC teams.
Reviewing and updating Firewall rules, Web/Email policies and updating/Patching security devices.
Handling Level 3 Incident/Service tickets and providing firewall/Web/VPN/ access
Training and mentoring network L2 and L1 teams.
End point DLP implementation to protect corporate confidential data using McAfee and Websense.
Coordinating with Clients like AT&T, BT, GE and AIG etc., and providing secure network infrastructure for client’s
offshore development centers (ODC).
Creating and maintaining Site-to-Site tunnel between two geographical sites.
Testing and verifying new CISCO security features such as VPN, Firewall, application inspection, NAT and various
routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF and BGP etc.) on CISCO IOS XE releases of ASR 1000 series Platform Routers.
Supporting Cisco TAC team by providing information for service request on Cisco ASR1000 platform
To ensure Quality assurance on Networking features like IPSEC, SSL, PFR and ALG in Cisco IOS for ASR Virtual
routers using Regression and manual testing
Handle ASR 1000 Router platform specific customer queries and work together with customers closely.
Responsible for reporting any bugs during the testing and coordinating with development for fix release.
Finding Vulnerability/Bugs in IOS and Coordinating with Cisco DE’s to verify the bug Fix.
Perform test plan review of features for ASR100 router.
Free style testing to increase feature coverage through which i can work with our innovative ideas with multiple
technologies.
