-Perform economic analysis and valuations on existing assets for divestment or potential targets for acquisition.
-Managing two assets; analyzing the Financials, Providing feedback on their performance and assisting the Board members on ad hoc basis

-Engage with internal stakeholders to investigate challenges or restrictions on divestment.

-Engage with external stakeholders (legal advisors, financial advisors, JV partners etc.) to challenge and / or defend valuations.

-Participate in conducting due diligence on potential acquisitions or potential buyers

• Assist in developing risk-based audit plans and risk control matrix’s / audit programs.
• Conduct opening / closing meetings and present observation to management.
• Perform testing to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls, compliance and effectiveness & efficiency.
• Work with Management to obtain agreement on observations and develop action plans.
• Produce value added observations and deliver high quality audits reports.
• Develop detailed work papers supporting work performed, conclusions and observations.
• Produce working papers in accordance with International Professional Practice Framework (IPPF) standards.
• Prepare the quarterly report and perform quarterly follow-up with Auditee (document / track the status of audit items).

• Responsible of accurate financial preparation, closing and reporting for Block-60.
•Ensure designated Block assets books are closed on time based on IFRS & IAS to meet the monthly, quarterly and annually closing due date.
•Provide financial details per asset on economics, DD&A, abandonment provisions, and Impairment tests for financial management, and statutory audit, as well as for strategic decision making.
•Monitor and manage annual (asset) budgets, and periodic management reports, including forecasting of financial results/cash flows on an asset by asset basis, aggregated and consolidated basis.

Preparing Consolidated Financial Statements and related schedules

Preparing the Budget and reporting the variance on monthly basis

Analyzing the Cash requirements as per the Corporate Strategy of the company to utilize the idle funds efficiently (Treasury Management function)

Preparing Risk report to monitor the investments.

Handling the payable section and ensuring payments done as per Delegation of Authority Matrix.

Interact with the internal, external auditors, banks and other parties.

Preparing financial statements and supporting schedules

Maintaining Fixed Assets register
Cash flow management.
Interact with external auditors in all matters related to finance.
Other tasks assigned by the Project Director and the BOD.

• Preparing Parent and Consolidated Financial Statements and supporting schedules
quarterly & at year end.
• Ensuring bank reconciliation is done by subordinate on a daily basis.
• Verifying all petty cash vouchers.
• Preparing daily Journal Entries such as payables and receivables.
• Performing monthly Journal Entries such as finance cost and depreciation.
• Preparing Depreciation of Fixed assets.
• Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
• Assist in preparation of Tax Return and Assessment of previous year's taxable profits.
• Served as Annual General Meetings' secretary for three years and handled all matters
related to Secretary Ship including AGM minutes.
• Responsible for uploading urgent news/financials on MSM website.

Special assignments
• Participated in system automation including nullifying of more than 100 ledger
balances.
• Physical assets verification, tagging, writing off and disposing off old assets.
