• Accountable for the Project Management of Retail and F&B outlets in conjunction with Principles. Communicate all build specifications and information in line with Brand Build Details. Manage and communicate all Design Drawings, along with the Order System for Interior Fixtures.
• To ensure the successful delivery of projects which meet its goal and objectives, and is completed within the agreed scope, budget, and timeframe boundaries

• Examine the Lease out drawings of a new Project once the Agreement is signed. Assess the manual requirements, design criteria so as to facilitate space design department to develop preliminary layout plan(s).
• Coordinate with Landlord Coordinators to carry out site survey pertaining to the drawings, plans, schedules and problems for quick resolution of all issues before the Concept is created.
• Provide information to the local Architects for the preparation of Concept Design Drawings and obtaining of approvals from the Landlord to execute the project.
• Maintain a cost control system throughout the project, providing regular financial updates to the development team and Project leader. Ensure sound financial project management including accurate budget forecasts to completion, cashflows and financial tracking of key accounts
• Reviewing the Bill of Quantity for tendering process and appoint a fit out Contractor. Approving shop-drawings submitted by the Contractors before execution including materials
• Supervise the site regularly; attend to all technical and engineering problems, additional manpower requirements, drawing changes, etc. in an effective and timely manner thereby achieving quality standards. To ensure that the products meet all WH Smith specifications. Coordinate with Contractors to obtain the Local Authority approvals.
• On percentage of completed job(s) for the preparation of valuation reports. Check the monthly bills submitted by Fit out Contractors and coordinate with Finance to process payments.
• Monitor progress against the project plan and updating all internal departments regarding the Store Opening Date such as IT, Marketing and Purchase to schedule requisition of products from Suppliers & Warehouses to merchandise and taking quick corrective action where required.
• Signing off handover document(s) with Contractor’s upon Completion of Project Snags (if any) in presence of Operations before trade-in.

Ensuring that the Project brief, all designs, specifications, and relevant information/ data are made available to, and are executed as specified with due regard to cost, by the Design Team, Consultants, and Contractors, such that the Corporation's facility master planning objectives are satisfactorily met.
• Float enquiries by issuing tender drawings along with detailed scope of works and material control samples to secure quotations from 3 different contractors for any new project.
