Main Responsibility:

• Team Leader and Assistant Manager- Overseeing audit planning, field work, and audit reporting; prepares reports, and communicates findings and recommendations to management. Reviewing audit work papers prepared by the audit staff to ensure sound audit theory and compliance with the methodology. Responsible for the daily supervision of audit staff and responsible for the development of audit staff and the completion of performance evaluations. Leading meetings with the Client’s management and advising solutions for issues raised throughout the audit.
• Audit and Assurance - Undertaking external audits for entities in accordance with the Accounting and Auditing Standards, Corporate law and other legislative requirements in the UAE. Audit engagements include the audit of client’s financial statements as per IFRS regulations or US GAAP and concluding on the client’s internal accounting controls. Work includes a wide range of audit and advisory services to assist clients in achieving their business objectives, managing their risk and improving their business performance.
• Financial Reporting - Recognition of relevant accounting standards whilst preparing the statement of financial position and performance, consolidations of related entities and maintenance of client accounting information systems. In addition, review/prepare reports required for meeting contractual credit agreements, cash flows, budget analysis and forecasts for internal and external purposes.
• Compilation and various other services - An approach focused on understanding the clients’ global business and control issues from the inside out. It combines a rigorous risk assessment, diagnostic processes, and audit testing procedures as well as a continuous assessment of our clients’ service performance. Furthermore, help clients make major strategic decisions and implement business improvements in areas such as customer relationships, supply chain, mergers and acquisitions and financial management.
• Main area of focus at Deloitte is currently banks, financial institutions, construction, Hotels, educational Institutes, Hospitals and media clients., auditing some of the biggest institutions and companies in UAE.
