Responsible of provide direction and supervision for the day-to-day
management of the Financial Accounts Section duties in the analysis,
preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports with significant
accountability and decision-making responsibility, including maintenance of
the General Ledger and supervision of Journal Entries, Assets Register and
Accounts Receivable staff.
ô¸ Maintain and ensure proper implementation of financial planning &
budgeting, policies, processes & procedures.
ô¸ Supervise the implementation of financial systems.
ô¸ Maintain all Financial Systems Maintenance & Administration.
ô¸ Provide training programs on systems.
ô¸ Ensure systems internal control, data integrity and monitors periodical
closing activity.
ô¸ Recommend work process improvement and enhanced software packages to
achieve higher efficiency and cost savings
ô¸ Maintain delegation of Authority Manual and its application
ô¸ Implement accounting manual, appropriate finance processes and maintain
accounts
ô¸ Highlight the potential risks in the section and develop strategies or
techniques to avoid, mitigate or prevent such risks.
ô¸ Manage the monthly Payroll costing and the annual closing activities.
ô¸ Manage & approve all Payroll accounts reconciliations for accuracy and
completeness purposes.
ô¸ Manage and approve all Payroll activities, including Pension Fund, End of
Service Benefit and all staff claims.
ô¸ Assign and supervise subordinate employees in the preparation of monthly
Payroll, weekly payments and detailed Payroll reports, and analysis to
ensure that the audit work is performed in effective and efficient way.
ô¸ Review and approve the work performed by the staff to ensure that audit
procedures have been performed properly.
ô¸ Liaise with HR Division concerning staff payments, promotions, increment
and claims are as per the entitlement and HR Personnel Policies.
ô¸ Ensure Payroll internal control, data integrity and monitor periodical
Payroll closing activity.
ô¸ Verify and approve the cheques and bank transfers related to Payroll and
the employee's payments.
