I have got a scholarship from the CIHEAM organisation to study in the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari. I did my master about "Salt tolerance and drought resistance of durum wheat varieties". I experimented irrigation and deficit irrigation with fresh and saline (different levels) water on three types of Durum wheat varieties.
I have done a research about some neglected plant species in Syria which has economic importance but they are neglected. Thesis entitled "Environmental and morphological study of some neglected plant species"
At the end of my degree I did a research about an important species in Syria called Cilician fir, and I gave a tesis entitled "Environmental and morphological study of Abies Cilicica"
