Handlingww under the supervision of the Senior GM - Corporate Banking the Corporate Banking teams which covers:
▪ Assisting the teams to solicit, assess and identify the potential finance opportunities whether under the existing clients or the new clients and setting up the plans to capture the business in line with bank’s policies, procedures and the adopted risk appetite while monitoring the performance of each officer based on the earlier communicated KPIs.
▪ Reviewing and amending the credit applications/memos prepared by the offices/analysts and discussing the same with the Risk Management and with the committee members whenever required.
▪ Reviewing and negotiating the legal documentation of the syndicated deals in line with the approved terms and conditions in liaising with the inhouse legal department.
▪ Monitoring and guiding the staff in regards to the daily work/performance beside the business aspects e.g: updating clients’ mandate files, clearing pending documents, assigned special tasks along with monitoring staff daily attendance.
▪ Contributing to the preparation of Corporate Banking annual budget covering Opex, income statement and balance sheet and getting involved in the underlying discussions the same with the Management and Finance Department. Moreover, assisting and participating in covering the Corporate Banking part of bank’s Strategic Plan which is submitted to the Central Bank on periodic basis and this covers the objectives along with the projected financials results of Corporate Banking over the time frame of the Strategic Plan.
▪ Completing and conducting on behalf of CBD number of the periodic reports to Central Bank of Kuwait - CBK- (e.g.: Corporate Banking semiannual achievements report, Challenges quarterly report, , , ).
▪ Engaging closely in the discussions with the internal /external auditors and the CBK inspectors while conducting their audit/inspection rounds and preparing the replies to their reports along with implementing any adopted rectification plans.
▪ Approaching the CBK -as deemed necessary- to obtain various approvals (to exceed the maximum allowed credit concentration level for Single Client, financing Non-Resident client in KD, approve new fees/charges under bank’s tariff list, , ).
▪ Handling the staff periodic/regular matters in liaising with the Management and HRD which include: conducting the annual performance appraisals of the staff, reviewing and approving the leaves plan while considering the work requirements, participating in the recruitment process of the new staff of Corporate Banking (interviews, negotiations, , , ).
▪ Participating to bank’s comprehensive digital transformation plan by being a member of the digital transformation team on behalf of Corporate Banking.
- Coordinating with IT in regards to the digitalization requirements across Corporate Banking by covering its part of the PRD; hence, all business requirements are clear for IT while conducting the development with the ultimate goal of enhanced efficiency and clients’’ experience.
- Supervising/guiding the team while conducting in coordination with the IT the UAT of the conducted developments.
- Attending and providing Corporate Banking feedback/assessment in relation to the new systems/projects where the development would be conducted by Vendor(s)

▪ Presenting the bank in the SMEs Committee at Kuwait Banking Association. The said committee is responsible for discussing, assessing and proposing alternatives in regards to the matters raised to Kuwaiti Banking Association about the SMEs business in Kuwait.
