• Preparation of tender, compliance and evaluation documents for upcoming roll-out projects with communication visibility based on GPRS/GPON/RF/RS485.
• Provide direct assistance/high level of support to the Project Manager to ensure that quality and quantity of works comply with the project timeline.
• Responsible for sorting out on-site/off-site support for any billing related issue from the meter in coordination with Accounts.
• Testing, calibration, installation and maintenance responsibility of meters.
• Attends management level meeting to sort out the issue of project timeline, improvement in quality of field works, management of available team, AMI tender related strategic discussions, evaluation of AMI tenders, compliance documents preparation for AMI, etc.
• Management, integration & testing of electricity and water metering points/ data in MDC.
• Responsible for mentioned but not only limited to on-site team management for all northern emirates, metering configurations related to low voltage & high voltages, troubleshooting, import/export of metering data, data validation in head end system, etc.
• Implementation, testing & commissioning of GPRS/GSM/RF based communication network for AMI across the northern emirates.
• Design & Operation and implementation of AMI head-end system namely Connexo (Honeywell) & Converge (Landis+Gyr).
• Interactions with SAP & IT team for SAP-AMI integration for automated reading & Ease of Billing (M2C).
• Constant meetup with vendors & technical teams for design & integration of head-end system with Etihad Electricity & Water (EWE) architecture.
• VEE & MDM/MDC monitoring for metering data & reporting.
• Responsible for on-site team management for metering configurations related to low voltage & high voltages, troubleshooting and import/export of metering data and validation in head-end system.
• Involved in AMI projects for DEWA/FEWA.
• Testing, calibration, installation and maintenance responsibility of meters.
• AMI Network related troubleshooting & diagnosing based on BPLC/RF/GPRS.
• Installation, configuration & commissioning responsibilities for DLMS related metering.
• Tendering and compliance matrix preparation for AMI, Solar and Electric Vehicle Charging Systems.
