This was a internship year in a governmental hospital where I had my rotation distributed among the four major sections of Medicine : Internal medicine, Surgery, OBS&GYN, and Pediatrics; 3 months for each, and a one month in the Emergency Department . I work under the supervision of competent physicians, taking Histories and performing physical exams, presenting cases in teaching and consultation rounds and morning reports.
This was an elective course in a governmental hospital where I had my rotation distributed between flour rounds, clinic, CCU, ICU. I work under the supervision of competent physicians, taking Histories and performing physical exams, presenting cases in teaching and consultation rounds and morning reports, as well as managing out-patient clinics.
I had the chance to work with Dr. Jamal in the vascular surgery consultation services on a daily basis in teaching and consultation rounds, taking histories and performing detailed physical exams. I did also attend several out-patient general surgery clinics with Dr.Moh. Abdullah, where I gathered relevant information and lab data on patients and presented them in the office. I presented several cases in the grand rounds as well as in morning reports, I dealt with and managed several emergent cases such as dealing with gunshot and stab wounds, and doing stitches.
