Generate accurate and timely financial reports to keep top management informed to identify trends.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports and meaningful analysis to keep the executive management informed of the financial performance and follow the cash flows in line with projects and activities.
• Ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Preparing estimated budgets for seasonal projects
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with (GAAP)
• Managed the preparation of financial statements and monthly financial reports for (revenues, expenses, and project balances).
• Developing financial policies and procedural guidelines with other departments to increase internal control.
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of documents,
• analyzing and reviewing expenses and revenues & Maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Developing staff performance to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Follow up all daily financial activities, and supervise financial operations (for example, financial collection from donors, monthly “kaffala” for families, expenses for campaigns and seasonal activities, cash management and banks, periodic payments for buildings and housing for orphan families etc...)
• Coordinate audits by external auditors and provide necessary information and support.
• develops and implements cost saving measures.
- Follow-up and audit accounting transactions including, accounts payable ( A/P), accounts receivable ( A/R ) accruals, Payroll, monthly reconciliation .
- Planning, organizing, and managing AECSA accounting, budgeting, financial statement preparation, and other fiscal activities.
- Supervising the current Bookkeeper or Junior accountant in the management of A/P, A/R, Payroll, Month-end close.
- Making recommendations to improve operation efficiency through internal control processes and procedural guidelines.
- Review all Invoices and validating their match with Issued
PO’s.
- Monitor and reconcile asset listings, Maintain fixed asset database and depreciation log.
- Review and validate all expenses Transactions.
- Review and validate Daily Revenue Transactions.
- Follow-up collections from clients through the collectors.
- Coordinating With Revenue Generating Department on
collecting Receivables
- preparing monthly payrolls
- Monitor inventory transactions.
- Preparing journal entries for month-end close.
- Other accounting/finance duties as assigned by the Finance
Manager
- Prepare the monthly financial reports used by management in
making decisions.
