2- Responsible for supervising various maintenance jobs with full safety.
3- Responsible for safe start up, shut down and handling of various process related emergencies.
4-Coordinating field activities liaison with field operator and maintaining process parameter.
5- Familiar with process P&I diagram, PFD, logic process control and shut down system.
6- All sections of Ammonia Plant including Desulphurisation of NG, Reforming, CO Conversion, CO2 Removal, Methanation, Gas Compression, Ammonia Synthesis and Ammonia Recovery.
Gas Processing (Front End) including
1-Removal of inorganic sulphur by mono ethanol amine MEA.
2- Feed gas (natural gas) desulfurization over Zn oxide
3- Primary Steam Reforming: Reforming of Natural Gas with steam. Reformer consists of
160 tubes and 252 tubes in two Lines.
4-Secondary Reforming: Further reforming of Natural Gas and addition of process air
For Nitrogen for the Ammonia Synthesis.
5-Shift conversion : Conversion of CO to CO2 in HT and LT Shift Converters By catalytic reaction.
6- C02 removal by Hpc.
7- Methatnator : Residual CO and CO2 from the Synthesis Gas get converted
Into CH4 in presence of Nickel based Catalyst. Reduces CO < 10ppm

- I am working as senior operator .The system is Foxboro I/A series version 10.2.3.I am involved in
Start-up, continuous monitoring and any shutdown emergencies. The following compressors are under my control for continuous observation.
Four high speed centrifugal compressors by Neuvo pignone which have manual start up system, two high speed, high capacity centrifugal compressors used for synthesis gas and ammonia which are started and controlled by Woodword 505E and Woodword 505 electronic governors having semi automatic start-up system and Four high speed, high capacity centrifugal compressors which are started and controlled by Woodword 505E and Woodword 505 electronic governors having fully automatic start-up system with touch screen control.
My job involves smooth start-up, continuous monitoring of all parameters and for any abnormalities, taking preventive action in case of any trouble in process variables to avoid trip of the machine and to avoid any damage and if necessary to take safe shutdown of the machine to avoid damage and any environmental
Pollution.
