My responsibilities started with defining the yearly sales turnover.
This was followed by setting the monthly sales target including its product mix. Next came the plan for acquiring the raw material, this included the time schedule for the raw material keeping in mind the minimal stock and the cash flow. I followed the sales activity in and out of Egypt.
During my leadership we have succeeded in scoring record sales in the history of the company, for two consecutive years in spite of the world financial crisis at the time.
This is one of the leading factories in the world for producing polyvinyl acetate. I am proud to have been a member of the pioneer launching team for Vinavil Egypt.
I was responsible for all the sales in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, KSA, Gulf countries, Sudan, Libya, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
During the time I worked at Vinavil Egypt I have surpassed the set sales target for three consecutive years.
The company was producing a variety of construction chemicals such as concrete admixtures, grouting and repairing products, waterproofing materials and sealants.
My role began with directing the clients, contractors and consultants to the most suitable product for their needs. Once the perfect chemical was found, I was responsible for doing the required official material testing to ensure that the product fulfilled the required specs and I got it certified.
I also organised seminars for all the new technologies and products introducing them to the consultants, and to the major contractors.
