Contractor for “Saudi Electricity Company” (SEC) for expansion to the power plant of Arar city with two units of “Siemens Gas Turbines (SGT6-2000E)”.
A subcontract for SNC Lavalin (the main contractor of Saudi Tabreed) for working inside KSA ARAMCO, in a project entitled: DHAHRAN DISTRICT COOLING SCHEME, actually, I’ve got the most of my experience from this project.
This project is a very huge Plant transfer its cold water around and inside the community of ARAMCO Dharan, this water is distributed into many locations, each location should have an Energy Transfer Station (ETS), our company was responsible about the electromechanical work for ETS.10; it is a chiller room with a capacity of 750 tons. My responsibility in this project as the follow:
1-Design of piping system following the instructions of the P&ID. I designed also the pipe supports following the piping stress analysis.
2-Erection of the steel structure.
3-Equipment installation and alignment
4-Piping (installation, supports, NDT, hydrotest, flushing and cladding).
5-Instrumentation installation by following the P&ID and data sheets of instruments.
In this company I practiced my engineering skills in fields of maintenance, technical support and the principles of safety.
– My Graduation Project is (Coordinate Measuring Machine) CMM; Device is considered like 3D scanner but by using of robotic arm and touch probe, this project was supported by (King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau) KADDB; this project is very important device for Quality Control and Reverse Engineering. – Implementing of Point-Following Robot (Robotic Arm) as an Application of Robotics, DAQ and Image processing, this project is candidate to be a new experiment at Mechatronics Lab, and I provided the supervisor engineer with all technical data for this project. – Instructor for Automation course for Industrial Engineering Students, organized by (Industrial Engineering Club) IEC. – The best teamwork of KADDB projects (KADDB’s evaluation)
– My graduation project was a construction of product line (conveyor belt with pneumatic pistons) by using of Micro-Controller. – A grade of 80.2 out of 100 in General Exam of Community Colleges (Shamel Exam) and I got the first place on my academic major.
