• Define and establish detailed project execution phases and sequencing of activities.
• Design and implement production systems based on the following factors:
o Minimize waste and maximize value.
o Efficient and effective utilization of resources, manpower, materials, plant & equipment.
o Production flow - ensuring all required inputs are available prior to start of any activity.
o Project milestones.
o Planned cost / budget requirements.
o Construction risk analysis and contingency planning.
o Product quality requirements.
o Construction safety.
o Waste management.
• Maintenance of construction schedules various resource requirements to meet the required progress and production requirement.
• Coordinate with planning and procurements to schedule materials delivery on time.
• Coordination of subcontractor work, perform regular technical and progress productivity meetings on site.
• Overall management and control of site store and materials.
• Monitor and compile relevant information on production rates.
• Follow up and monitor design changes. Ensure that confirmation of verbal instruction is initiated on instructions given by Resident Engineer on site, and ensure a copy is forwarded to contracts Manager.
• Follow up the implementation of safety procedures, aiming for Zero Accident and ensuring compliance by all site personnel
• Ensure that the engineers regularly verify the calibration status of surveying instruments and other inspection and testing equipment's and that a record of calibration is retained.
• Planning, coordination, controlling pre-commissioning and final hand over of the project, and ensure that all snag items are completed and hand over.
• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with the contract and the construction schedule.
• Execute H.H Villa & VIP Villa and Several Additional Buildings at (AL Rawdah Palace AL Shoaiba)
•Study and analyze project specification and drawing to define construction requirements, acceptance criteria and prepare list of required Method Statement.
•Plan, monitor and control execution of work safety on site and verify compliance with Approval Shop-drawing, Specification, Construction schedule and Approved Method Statements.
•Verify completeness and compliance of work with the acceptance criteria prior to submission to the Quality Department according to relevant Inspection / Test plans.
•Overall supervision and coordination of General Forman and Site Engineers areas of responsibilities and allocation of work areas.
•Coordinate with Materials Engineer for materials delivery and take necessary action with Construction Manger to prevent delays in Construction.
•Coordinate Subcontractors works, and perform regular inspection to verify compliance with specified requirements and construction schedule.
•Supervision and implementation of Safety precautions and take necessary action to prevent accidents.
•Inspect contractor’s work for compliance with Plans, specifications, and Witnessing all testing upon contract materials, equipment schedules, monitoring and coordinating The collection of material Samples for testing
• Assists in the approval of contractor payments by verifying, Reviewing, and preparing quantity and progress estimates and Payment forms for payments
•Assists in negotiating and preparing documentation for change order or claims by reviewing and evaluating change order request or claims, preparing engineer’s estimate for change order, quantities for material, labor, and Equipment
•Monitors and coordinates safety and quality control on projects by ensuring project is constructed in accordance with applicable safe regulations, reporting safety and defective work to the contractor for correction, and preparing and issuing appropriate reports for compliance documentation.
•Review drawing, take necessary action to ensure sufficient information is available and ensure the latest drawings, method statements are used
•Site supervision to ensure work carried out on site is accordance with: (Drawing, Specification, Construction program and Method of statements.)
•Controls accurately and ensure that only approved materials are used
•Monitor, control, and coordinate site activity including the works of different trade subcontractors and report on their progress or trends for problems to ensure that the progress is in accordance to the construction program
• Distributes manpower with General foreman, supervises the activities of foreman, trade foreman, and land surveyors to achieve the required progress
