Maintenance and strategy and projects

During Plant operation & Maintenance:

 Organize the workshop in order to be highly efficient
 Preparation of time estimates, materials, tooling, and manpower requirements for electrical maintenance and repair activities.
 Coordination of daily scheduled electrical work activities according to priority, manpower resources, craft interaction, contractor/vendor activity, and availability of material and equipment
 Responsible for the spare parts selection, test equipment, and tools required for electrical shops and field equipment.
 Responsible for initiating and coordinating activities with warehouse personnel for preparation of purchase orders, repair parts, and tools etc.
 Responsible for the proper and accurate recording of time, costs, and other charges related to personnel and cost items under his supervision
 Accountable for the proper training of personnel under his supervision .
 Responsible for assisting the Planning and Scheduling group with the development of routine maintenance, turn-around, and repair Work Plans and schedules
 Responsible for quality of work performed by personnel under his supervision . Troubleshooting of electrical problems and equipment failures
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (MV/LV switchgear ABB, Siemens)
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (MV/LV variable speed drives Siemens and Schneider)
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (UPS/charger AEG and Emerson)
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (protection relays /simocode Siemens and ABB)
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (LV emergency diesel generators(Perkins, Mitsubishi and caterpillar)
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (steam generator Siemens and AVR panel)
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (MV and LV induction motors)
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (lighting and earthing system)
 Commissioning/start up/maintenance and Troubleshooting for the (oil and dry type power transformers ABB and Schneider


During Plant Construction:

 Follow up the electrical executive team and ensure that the electrical systems \[Distribution transformers, switchboards, Generators, direct buried cables, cable trays, duct banks, fire alarm, lighting and power system, and public address system, lightning system, grounding network ... etc.\] was erected according to the design drawings and comply with the electrical standard IEC
 Create the maintenance procedures, maintenance, review capital and operational spare parts and create what is additional needed
 Check spare part delivery quality (wear parts, overhaul parts, and strategic parts) and issue the MRR(Material Receiving Report).
 Follow up the maintenance works performed by outside contractors During Plant operation & Maintenance
 Performs the preventive and routine maintenance, according to the manufacturer's recommendations, the conditioned base maintenance policy and the associated Maintenance Plans and insure that the works are completed according to the quality and safety requirements
 Responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance and repair of facility electrical equipment and distribution systems.
 Responsible for the overall safety of personnel under his supervision or direction .
 Development of Safe Work Procedures & Total Safety Task Instructions (TSTI) for all electrical
 maintenance activities.
 Verification of the min-maxi levels of the re-orders of spare parts, and more globally verification of the adequacy of the spare parts.
 Follow up the maintenance works performed by outside contractors .

Test Lab - Responsibilities :

 Prepare the piping and electrical connections for the test bed.
 Perform the performance and NPSH test for API centrifugal
pumps(OH &BB) in Suez factory test bed.
 Trimming and impeller modification calculation for the API
horizontal and vertical pumps.

Project engineer - Responsibilities :

 Inquiring, clarifying, issuing PO and expediting pump AC motors (low and medium voltage from (2.00 KW up to 2.00 MW) safe area and explosion proof (horizontal and vertical).

o WEG.
o LORYSOMER.
o ANSALDO.
o CEMB.
o MADICO.

 Inquiring, clarifying, issuing PO and expediting pump control panels.

Factory electrical engineer - Responsibilities :

 . Responsible for all the protective and corrective maintenance for all the electrical equipment in the factory:
 (Medium voltage switches gear 11KV (SF6 circuit breaker, Sepam protection relays).
 500KVA and 3MVA power oil transformer.
 Low voltage switches gear 400V.
 Factory machines control panels.
 Factory lighting.

Responsibilities :

 Diesel generators maintenance &trouble shooting (CATERPILLAR GENERATORS)
 MCC, SWITCH GEAR, CONTROL PANEL, CRANES, PLC, LIGHTING)
 Preventive and corrective maintenance for power transformer, motors, generators, switchgear, lighting system and control panels.

 Motors maintenance& trouble shooting.
 Overhead Cranes maintenance & trouble shooting.
 Control panels trouble shooting

 Cable pulling.
 Instruments installing check.
 Control loop check &trouble shooting
