1- Project Initiation & Planning • Define Project Scope: Work with the client to clearly outline objectives, deliverables, and boundaries. • Develop Project Plan: Create a comprehensive plan including schedule, budget, resource allocation, and communication strategy. • Assemble Team: Select and onboard the right consultants and subject matter experts for the project. • Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies. 2- Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison between the consulting firm and the client. • Manage Expectations: Ensure client expectations are aligned with project scope and deliverables. • Communicate Progress: Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders at all levels. • Navigate Politics: Understand and manage client organizational dynamics and stakeholder interests. 3- Project Execution & Delivery • Monitor & Control: Track project progress against the plan (timeline, budget, quality). • Facilitate Teamwork: Lead the consultant team, coordinate tasks, and remove obstacles. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the firm's standards and client requirements. • Manage Changes: Handle scope change requests formally and assess their impact on timeline and cost. 4- Financial Management • Budget Oversight: Manage the project budget, track costs, and ensure profitability. • Invoicing: Oversee the invoicing process in alignment with contract terms and milestones. • Forecasting: Predict future resource needs and financial performance of the project.
