Job description:

 Guide the NOC team to provide better support.
 Decide the support scope of work.
 Design solutions to enhance network performance and high availability.
 Performing Presales Activities: designing solutions according to customer requirements, Combined visits with Account Managers to provide technical expertise to provide best solution to customers.
 Provide solutions to mitigate risks.
 Solving escalated problems from NOC team.
 Provide solutions to enhance customers’ networks.
 Take the required corrective and preventive actions to decrease the downtimes probabilities.

Identifying the network problems root causes.
Re-design the network properly (routing domain, IP scheme, VLANs scheme, port map scheme and standard network topology).
Flexibility in design to meet customers requirements.
Configuring Cisco, Huawei and HP routers and switches, and Cisco and Juniper firewalls.
Implementing QoS to increase performance of some applications.
Implementing redundant protocols (HSRP, VRRP and NSRP) and GRE tunnels with IPsec.
Securing the network devices to meet the audit requirements done by Tadawul.

Installing core network devices.
Decide and implement major routing protocol and network services.
Core network capacity planning, WAN/LAN trunks upgrades.
Solving problems escalated by NOC.
IGP (OSPG, iBGP, MP-BGP) configurations and maintenance.
EGP (eBGP) policies planning and applying for international trunks and eBGP peering customers and ISPs.
IP address space management (AFRINIC).
Configuring network hardware AAA using TACACS+.
MPLS VPNs configuration and maintenance.
QOS configuration and maintenance.

Handling of a higher level customer problems and complains escalated by Support team.
Troubleshooting and configuring Cisco routers (16xx-76xx), MLS CAT switches, Telecom fiber connections located between centrals, DSLAMs, MAX20, converters and etc.
Monitoring all network topology including resellers POPs using ORION, MRTG.
POPs maintenance and documentations.
Keeping BW policies within rations for all POPs concerning shared or dedicated services.
Replacing and upgrading IOS images on Cisco devices.

Handling of a higher level customer problems and complains escalated by Support team.
Troubleshooting and configuring Cisco routers (16xx-76xx), MLS CAT switches, Telecom fiber connections located between centrals, DSLAMs, MAX20, converters and etc.
Monitoring all network topology including resellers POPs using ORION, MRTG.
POPs maintenance and documentations.
Keeping BW policies within rations for all POPs concerning shared or dedicated services.
