• Develop and implement Etisalat’s HSE Policy Statement along with Etisalat’s Management.
• Develop and implement Etisalat’s HSE Procedures and programs for the newly developed HSE System.
• Lead Egypt’s HSE team and report to Egypt’s HSE Manager the performance and KPIs figures.
• Manage a team of 2 HSE Specialists and 13 HSE Officers and report to Egypt’s HSE Manager.
• Monitor all Operations across Egypt’s Sites, including 4 Admin Buildings, 13 Data Centers, 13 Technical Offices, 50+ Stores and 2 Warehouses.
• Lead an HSE audit team as the Lead Auditor to conduct quarterly audits on all sites, both internal and external (Vendors and Contractors).
• Comply with national OHS office and work force office legal requirements.
• Assist BCM team to implement H & S Business Continuity requirements.
• Deliver trainings for Etisalat’s staff aiming to raise the HSE awareness of Personnel in the telecommunications industry.
• Prepare Egypt’s Annual HSE Training Plan/Matrix and provide adequate training support for Egypt’s HSE team.
• Conduct exceptional training during crises, due to major incidents or major change in procedures which needs employees’ awareness.

• Implement Egypt annual audits against PepsiCo’s EHS protocol and develop EHS capability of all Egypt employees including manufacturing and non-manufacturing.
• Fully utilize PepsiCo EHS Diagnostic and audit tools to ensure Egypt sites full compliance with the corporate EHS global metrics and audit methodologies
• Conduct audits in a timely manner and ensure that all identified compliance gaps are closed and risks are fully mitigated
• Communicate timely audit reports to Compliance & Training Manager and audited sites managers
• Follow up on the completion of corrective action plans for each audited function/site against the audit reports through a robust tracking system to ensure adherence to plans timelines
• Analyze employee EHS incompetence gaps through audits and communicate training requirements to EHS Compliance & Training Manager to ensure competence.
• Verify and validate the undertaken actions to ensure their effectiveness to deliver improvements
• Deliver all assigned trainings with adherence to PepsiCo EHS Competency & Training standard.
• Develop new training materials and programs for the newly implemented EHS standards
• Monitor EHS trainers’ performance across Egypt and Monthly reporting of training records including evaluations to EHS compliance and training manager.
• Conduct exceptional training during crises (in case of occurrence) due to major incidents or major change in procedures which needs employees’ awareness.

Ensuring compliance by all parties with Company’s Safety requirements and regulations and all relevant legislation.
Ensuring that all Safety activities are executed in a safe and quality manner and recommending improvements in working practices that will reduce the risk of incidents on rig site.
Providing professional direction, guidance and support to the rig crew.
Reviewing and commenting on Project Safety deliverables
Monitoring the Company and construction activities and making sure that these are executed as per the HSE plan and procedures
Supporting the identification of safety hazards, evaluation of risks for all activities and development of the tools to manage and reduce these risks
Participating in and/or reviewing the various Risk Assessments
Ensuring that Safety programs and procedures are implemented, reviewed and improved, as needed.
Participating in incident control duties during major accident emergencies or drills
Ensuring periodic Safety Audits and inspections are conducted in accordance to Kelvin Top set incident reporting procedure.
Assisting in various training and awareness programs that will be implemented to raise the awareness of all rig crew.
Supporting Senior tool Pusher with all necessary and related safety/quality requirements on rig.

Projects:
• Installed a complete VHF/UHF Communications System to provide necessary coverage and linkage in Iraqi Air Space with ATCs.
• Managed the installation of 5 passenger Boarding Bridges in Basra Airport.
• Installed 11 Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) in Hurghada Airport.
• Installed a complete Baggage Handling System (BHS) in Hurghada Airport.
