▪ Chemical engineer in Ethylene production unit at TCI SANMAR Company For Petrochemical Industry in Port Said- Egypt (Aug 2013- present)
Did Commissioning for Ethylene production plant, Start up, Troubleshooting and Normal operation.
Job responsibilities:
1. Operate the DCS panel to achieve optimum process performance.
2. Change process operation to meet production plans.
3. Achieve normal operating conditions after start-up.
4. Diagnose and correct problems affecting process conditions.
5. Establish shut-down conditions in process systems and equipment as per company procedure
6. Communicate about process conditions as required throughout shift and during handover.
7. Maintain personal safety and the safety of others.
8. Ensure compliance with company quality management policies.
9. Maintain plant conditions within safe operating and environmental limits
▪ Technical support Engineer at System Technique for Water Management Sharm El Sheikh (DEC 2012-Aug 2013)
Job responsibilities:
- Testing the water quality of main water, R O stations and waste water according to WHO.
- Responsible for water treatment of cooling towers to prevent scale formation, bio fouling and corrosion by checking PH, TDS, total hardness, CL2 and other chemicals concentrations.
- Responsible of water treatment for boilers to prevent corrosion and scale formation by checking oxygen scavengers, blow down system, softeners and de aerators performance
- Supervising on chemical cleaning process for heat exchangers, boilers and RO membrane
- Writing reports to chief engineer and environmental authorities about water quality.
- Train and supervise on the technicians of plants to maintain a good water quality.
