o Increase selling revenue from 96 mill. L.E per annum to 220 mill. L.E Per annum.
o Increase selling volumes from 220, 000 batteries per annum to 550, 000 batteries per annum
o Transform selling-to mix from 100% selling to whole sellers to 40% BTB and 60% whole sellers.
o Increase whole sellers from 5 main whole sellers to 13 main whole sellers.
o Increase products selling volumes from 220, 000 (Y2015 selling data) batteries per annum to 550, 000 (Y2017 selling data) batteries.
o Develop contracts with main OEM's within the country (i.e. Ghabbour auto; BYD, JAC …) and
o Lead General Motors new supplier's assessment approval process to put German Co. for Manufacturing Batteries on General Motors Approved Suppliers list (target Nov. 2018).
As Suppliers Development & Relations Dept. Mgr. my responsibilities are-but not limited to:-
• Responsible for Non-Automotive items purchasing (with a total value of $100mil) and automotive items purchasing (with a total of $200 mil.). Cost saving achieved is about $50 mil. Due to new long term contracts; mega deals with suppliers; new tenders procedures and negotiations with suppliers.
Directing the Supply chain (procurement; warehousing; and planning sec.) teams (4 line managers; 6 supervisors and 50 employees and workers) towards achieving the company’s targets-as a part of developing one of the main areas for improvements among the company- as following :-
oCreating local procurement policies and setting data standards while adopting Global vision to consolidate all the procurement activities in the HQ.
oConduct spend analysis portfolio in order to identify commodities suitable for strategic sourcing and produce procurement plans and budgets to achieve Cost reduction while maintaining the high quality standards.
Main achievements:-
oDecreasing inventory days by 25%.
oIncreasing DPO (day’s payment out standings) by 35%.
o5% saving from total purchased material value.
oCompleting the Supply Chain department team organization.
oIncrease the base of suppliers to eliminate the zero stocks incidents.
oDecreasing warehouse value by 25%.
Managing a team of 20 engineers to accomplish the following main taregets:-
•Analyze current gaps based on Compliance reports, conduct the needed studies and benchmarks, and provide the needed support to departments' managers to improve the current processes and / or create new processes, documentation, and monitor impact on efficiency, effectiveness, waste elimination & customer satisfaction (based on 6 sigma & Lean Manufacturing techniques).
•Set up detailed operations processes manuals including procedures, work instructions, forms …etc).
•Develop and manage quality culture within production to meet quality objectives.
•Follow up on developing new systems and processes essentially required to enhance the operations outputs.
Accountable for all planning, system development, operations, administration, and results in all related functions including:
•Process effectiveness & efficiency.
•Process continuous improvement.
Achievements:-
•Increasing the printing process capability from (Cpk= 0.8 to Cpk=1.33 );
•Designing the tuft process control points;
•Designing and implementing intermediate products specs. books and control points.
•Issuing, verifying, and maintain operations manual.
•Issuing and verifying the company process flow charts.
•Design all processes, designs, and systems FMEA for the company as a tool for continuous improvement.
•Maintain a detailed knowledge of IMC activities and initiatives of the IMP.
•Prepare and maintain an analysis of the local business community and promising sectors and clusters in conjunction with the Regional Manager.
•Continually assess emerging local business needs and service providers to evolve the portfolio of services of the BRC.
•Understand and report on legislative and regulatory obstacles hindering the modernization of industry in the local area.
•Identify potential client businesses that would benefit from IMP and BRC activities and initiate their involvement.
•Identify and work with relevant business, trade, academic or other organizations to create a network that will support the activities of the IMP and BRC.
•Champion the development of a Branch in the designated area including the identification of premises in conjunction with the Regional Manager..
•Undertake necessary planning and reporting from local BRC.
•Hire and supervise BRC professional and support staff, and build a local consultant registry

o Increase client base from 4 clients within Sadat city area to 70 clients.
o Increase total spent from 40, 000€ per annum to 300, 000€ per annum.
o Increase number of contracts from 1 contract per month to 30 current clients' contracts and 7 new clients' contracts per month.
