INTERCOM is the ONLY Business Objects PLATINUM Partner in Egypt and IBM Premier Partner, which created need to have differentiated caliber to be accountable for whole supervision and management of BI unit affairs -core SBU "Strategic Business Unit". Reporting to Professional Services Director and directing 12 members ONLY, as we're in introduction stage of PLC, 10 seniors and juniors headed by 2 team leaders, who're ALL professionals with Business Objects (Crystal Reports, Query & Analysis, Performance Management & Data Visualization tools) and IBM (DB2 and Data Warehousing tools) as well.
Responsible for managing, overseeing and ensuring the effective delivery of all BI services within the PS (Professional Services) department.
Supervise, direct, coordinate and motivate BI staff and staff activities; establish priorities to ensure deadlines are met; conduct performance evaluations; authorize hiring and disciplinary actions in compliance with PS and HR policies.
Oversee the development of existing BI tools and enhance business/technology processes; provide direction for new development, correlating the new development with Department mission and goals; prepare implementation and contingency strategies; develop and oversee standard development methodologies (RUP framework)
