• Review&Revise of WPS & PQR for jobs as per company and international standards specifications and qualify welders to meet WPS requirements.
• material inspection and review MTC documentation.
• Undertaking verification of welding machines, electrode specifications, electrode baking & holding temperature including control & issue.
• Interpretation of RT films and witnessing MT, UT, PT in accordance with relevant codes & standards
• Inspection & witness of Post Weld Heat Treatment
• Pipeline inspection for stringing, pipe-book Review, lowering packages, tie-in packages, pigging, hydro testing & dewatering activities
• Directly involved in Monitoring and Inspection fabrication, site erection & testing of piping work for the entire facility- piping for tanks, vessels, compressors, pumps, flares, drains, pipelines & pigging facilities, instrument air & plant air piping, chemical injection & water treatment piping
• Review documents like Testing and Inspection reports, Work method statements, piping check lists, punch lists, test packages, inspection notifications and completion of test reports as per ITP.
• Witnessing hydro tests, pneumatic tests, leak tests in piping & pipeline.
• Painting inspection of external surface as per project specifications, wet & dry film thickness, curing test, adhesion test, holiday testing, peel off testing etc
• Detailed study of vendor documents, final drawings, data sheets etc
• Fully conversant with codes like API 1104, API 650, ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8. ASME IX, ASME VIII, NACE MR0175 etc.
• Inspection of Production parts for dimension as per drawings.
