Ensure the proper accounting treatment, review and sign all company transactions then finally approve the posting to the trail balance by supporting from the international financial reporting standards (IFRSs) and International GAAP, Coordinating with the auditors during the year-end close and preparing the working papers and the financial statements through, Prepare & review the weekly & monthly reports to the master franchise and the company management, handling the related tax issues, Monitor and preparing the net cash movements in order to hedge any liquidity risk, preparing the assets schedules, inventory analysis, monthly P&L (summery & detailed), monitoring the company purchases, inventory and proper costing.
Responsibilities include:-
• Managing all the financial accounting systems, revenue management and processes of the organization.
• Ensuring financial compliance with all local and regulatory authorities like embassies etc.
• Designing, planning and executing the processes and procedures for cash collection, reconciliation and reporting as well as integration with other legacy systems.
• Running day-to-day financial operational processes like payroll, procurement etc.
Key Accomplishments:
Successfully set up entire the business process for the visa facilitation center including writing SOPs, audit parameters and KPI monitoring from concept to execution. Also established financial guidelines and participated in development of the business from a strategic point of view.
Responsibilities included:-
• Preparing budgets for the Ministry based on guidelines and requirement set by the Ministry of Finance
• Monitoring cash disbursement within different departments and maintain corresponding records
• Auditing amounts actually expensed with the allocated budget through automated systems as well as physical reconciliation.
Key Accomplishments:
Created a project plan and successfully implemented the allocation and disbursement of the new bonus and incentive scheme initiated by the Ministry of Finance, to the employees over a tiered, audited process monitored by various governing bodies.
Responsibilities included:
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
• Ensured accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
• Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure
Key Accomplishments:
Designed the overall processes for collection of revenue from corporate and retail customers and preparing the resulting financial reports.
Responsibilities included
• Auditing of all revenue transactions in the hotel
• Preparation of daily revenue reports and cash management
• Receiving of items through systems set up by Finance and Purchasing departments.
• Estimation, cost analysis and budgeting for hotel, assisted in annual budget planning
Key Accomplishments:
A key member of the pre-opening and operations team for the Four Season, Cairo, I was instrumental in all set-up activities right from payroll, procurement and payment tracking to budgeting and even marketing.
