Industrial Training of the Human Capital Development
Department. Oversee all certification of all industrial operational teams.
This includes Operations, Maintenance, and all supporting teams.
Oversee all training programs for plants workers according to their Job
Tasks Standards. oversee all Operator Training Simulators for all
company plants.
As part of the assignment, I was Director of Petrorabigh Phase-II On-
Job Training (OJT) Project. A $115M project to train 540 plant
Operators in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Netherlands for almost
2 years on the operations and on the day-to-day activities in similar plants
being built in Rabigh complex.
Alkylation Plants. Alkylation unit consists of 3 plants, namely
Alkylation, Isomerization, and Sulfuric Acid Plants. The main product of
this unit is to produce high purity (96 to 97 RON) Alkylate.
Ethane Cracker (EC) Operations & EC Commissioning
Chief. I led the operations team throughout the pre-commissioning,
commissioning, and the startup of the Ethane plant which came on line
end of 1st
quarter of 2009. The duties as a Deputy Section Head involved
many areas as follows:
• Leading Commissioning & start up activities
• Initial Startup Planning
• Leading Functional Teams & Team Assessment
• Team Building Activities Management
• Providing Technical Training for Operations Personnel
