• Manage the process of measurement and costing for Variation Orders upon issuance of the approved Site Instruction to the Contractor.
• Evaluation of interim payment submitted by the contractor and recommending it to the client after thorough investigation.
• Preparation of Tender Documents to be submitted to the client focusing mainly on infrastructure projects like roads and drainages.
• Reviewing/ validating cost estimate from various stages including pre-tender estimate of infrastructure projects.
• Responding to queries from the client regarding pre-tender estimates of existing projects of roads, drainage, surface water TSE works and utilities services.
• Tender analysis of priced Bills of Quantities and providing technical support for the local roads and drainage projects
• Provides commercial and contractual advices based on contract documents as needed.
• Evaluation of Commercial Submission by Tenderer’s and Preparation of Commercial Queries in related to the Bill of Quantities submitted by Tenderer’s.
• Assessment of Tenderer’s Bill of quantities in related of the scope of works and checking any anomalies of unit rates.
• Preparing of Value Engineering for the cost reduction of the project of Client for cost saving.
• Preparation of Tender documents for Awarded Contract, technical evaluation of Tenderer’s and preparing bid documents.
• Assist the Project Director, Commercial Manager and Client Senior Quantity Surveyor for any documents needed for the project.
• Quantities take off on Structural and Architectural Plans.
• Reviews and studies of plans and specifications
• Responsible for preparing and updating monthly cost reports and cash flow
• Tender Evaluation of Commercial Submission by Tenderer’s and checking of any anomalies of rates.
• Sources out and analyses new rates and submit to client for approval.
• Preparation of Commercial Queries in related to the Bill of Quantities submitted by Tenderer’s.
• Preparation of documents of Awarded Contract.
• Prepare bid documents, quantities take off on Structural and Architectural Plans, Reviews and studies of plans and specifications
• Final account evaluation and close out of variations including reconciliation and negotiation to the Contractor for settling final account.
• Carry out accurate measurement of reviewed variations and instructions regarding approved resolution, actual site condition and approved drawings reconciliation of quantity and rates with the contractor for variations.
• Evaluation and review of variations submitted by contractor and changes to the original scope of works.
• Evaluation and review of new rates used by contractor.
• Preparing cost substantiation for new rates and provides necessary back up.
• Carry out detailed quantity take off of actual accomplishment works for civil and architectural works preparation of bill of quantities.
• Checking and recommendation of contractor’s interim payment applications.
• Verifications of material on on-site and off-site quantity to payment application and variations,
• Dealing with claims measurement and costing including investigating actual scenario to site condition.
• Preparation and submit claims cost proposal for variation or change order by Client and Designer instruction.
• Preparation of cost substantiation for new rates and provide necessary back up.
• Change order measurement and costing, review and evaluate issued EIMC, CTI, RFCO and NOC.
• Quantity take-off based on given resolution, actual site condition and latest issued drawings.
• Prepare and submit of cost proposal for EIMC, CTI, RFCO and NOC issued by the client, prepare cost substantiation for new rates, inter-department coordination with regards to work-related issues.
• Carry out detailed quantity take-off of actual accomplishment works for civil and architectural works with reference to approved plans and coordination with planning engineers’ report and site inspection.
• Quantity take-off on structural and architectural plans, reviews and studies of plans and specifications, prepare bid documents.
• Reviews and certifies payment certificates and re-measurement of works submitted by contractors.
• Maintains and updates register.
• Provide and maintain all back-up documents required for submission of claims and invoices.
• Ensure proper and systematic file organisation for easy and accurate reference.
• Provides commercial and contractual support as needed
• Review and study of issued for bidding drawings for a particular project and prepared structural as well as architectural quantity take-offs.
• Reviewed and evaluated issued for bidding drawings and issued for construction drawings based on standards and specifications and contract documents for change orders and claims.
• Attend pre-bids meetings as representative by for the company.
