Projects range from Military Facilities for Qatar Air Force, High-End Residential Complex in West Bay Lagoon (14700sqm), Office Fit-Out (900sqm), Infrastructure Buildings and a High Rise 33 floors Hotel.
Main Duties include:
- Brief development, Project Charter;
- Develop Work/Time/Resourses Schedules, WBS;
-Preparation and coordination of Concept, Preliminary and Detail Design;
-Design Review, Desk Checks, Quality Management Assurance/Compliance;
- Coordination with Structures, MEP and Civil Defense;
- Preparing documents for the DC1, liaising with Local Authorities;
- Preparing drawings and BPS for Contractor Tender;
-Assisting the QS department and answering RFIs from Contractors and Suppliers;
- Assisting with bid proposals and presentations
-Coordinating Sub-Consultants Bidding Analysis for Client’s decision;
-Assisting on preparing reports of Project Progress to Client;
- Assisting the Site Teams;
-Design & Build procurement;
-Contract Administration.
Project Architect &Town Planner in the Design & Facilities Management Department and from 2006 combining the Specialist Architect Advisor role for the Building Permits Department.
Projects:
Town Development Plan- 1st Revision, member of the Municipal Committee for the Design Review;
- Conservation Plan for the Historic Centre, member of a multidisciplinary team for the Design and Plan;
- Statutory for Local Urban Development and Building Code, member of the Consulting Municipal Committee;
- City Public Park (Sports Courts, WaterPark, Minigolf, Skateboarding, Climbing Walls, Aerated Lagoon) 2.5ha
Acted as Project Coordinator & Project Architect seeing the project successfully through from inception to completion. Reported directly to the Head of Facilities Management Department. Project co-funded by European Union’s Funding Programs (PO-NORTE, INTERREG IIIA and PIQTUR).
Status: Completed within the Budget and Timelines.
- Refurbishment of a Ferry-Boat to a Café-Bar,
As Project Coordinator and Project Architect responsible for the Concept, Development and Detail Design, Coordinating all the disciplines, Authority Permits procedures and Contractor Tender Documents and Negotiation. Reported directly to the Head of Facilities Management Department. Project co-funded by European Union’s Funding Programs INTERREG IIIA and PIQTUR).
Status: Completed within the Budget and Timelines.
- Garden Restaurant-Tea House in the City Park,
As Project Coordinator and Project Architect, responsible for the Concept, Development and Detail Design, Coordinating all the disciplines, Authority Permits Procedures, Tender Stage and Assistance to Site Team. Reported directly to the Head of Facilities Management Department.
Status: Completed within the Budget and Timelines.
- Municipal Archive Building, Architect as part of the Project Team involved in the Concept and Development Design. Reported to the Project’s Team Leader. Project co-funded by European Union’s Funding Programs PARAM).
- Refurbishment of the Municipal Auditorium,
Architect as part of the Project Team involved in the Concept and Development Design. Reported to the Project’s Team Leader. Project co-funded by European Union’s Funding Programs PO-NORTE and PETER).
- Municipal Kennel Building
Project Architect, responsible for Concept and Detail Design, Tender Bidding and assistance to Site Team. Reported to the Head of Facilities Management Department.

- Urban Plan and Design for strategic City Squares and Boulevards,
Architect as part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Team-Leader. Projects co-funded by European Union’s Funding Programs PO-NORTE and PETER).
Status: Completed.
- Redevelopment feasibility studies for Cultural and Educational Facilities (Museum of Modern Art, Market Art Gallery, ArtCraft Gallery, Municipal Library, Primary Schools and Nurseries) and Social Dwelling Buildings, in the role of Project Architect.
A highly awarded architecture firm focus on working in historic buildings and sites. Here I worked with great professionals specialized to intervene in heritage. I developed execution designs starting from a settled basic project, along with all the engineering specialties. The Portuguese Public Authority for Heritage Protection was the mainly client, which heighted the exemplarity of the projects. Knowing the legislative framework was required, along with specific approaches, practices, techniques and materials.

Detail Design of a XIVcentury Castel of Montalegre and surrounding landscape;
Detail Design for a XIX Palace refurbished to a Boutique Hotel, S.Braz Oleiro;
Detail Design for the Conservation of Medieval Church of Caminha.
Highlighting my participation as a member of the team who developped the building documents for the Castel of Montalegre and gardens spaces, Youth Hotel in the House of S.Brás Oleiro and the Church of Caminha.
As an intern I have developed design and technical solutions under supervision of the head architect for luxury villas.
A 6 year Architecture Degree, preBologna Agreement, currently equalizes to Master Degree; ERASMUS student at École d’Architecture de la Communauté Française LA CAMBRE, Brussels,Belgic, 98/99. The final Project to complete Degree was the Refurbishment of the "Theatre of Constantino Nery" in Matosinhos Portugal, was awarded an 18 points.
