• Responsible for the implementation of policies, control, monitoring and advising all aspects of quality control and quality assurance within the organization.
• Performs Nondestructive Testing (NDT) and inspection such as Radiographic Testing (RT); Magnetic Particle Testing (MT); Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT); Leak Testing; Holiday Testing; Hardness Testing, Ultrasonic Testing (UT - flaw detection); Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging (UTG) for our clients from different industries such as Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Fabrication and Marine.
• Conduct verification of Nondestructive testing equipments prior to use
• Check the accuracy and detect ability of equipment and if not, conduct re-verification.
• Performed Penetrant testing on pipe ends, repaired joints and suspected hidden defects like scab, blister, laps and cracks as per prevailing standards and customer’s requirements.
• Reports and Documentation of all NDT inspection to QA/QC Group.
• Verify and checks the areas especially were Gamma Ray inspection is needed. Secure working permits of all the areas concerned, make sure that all area have barricades, warning devices and make sure the area is accessible to the operators. Report any problems during site visit and during testing.
• Performed as a 3rd party inspector. Verify and checked the welding procedure, drawing, welding consumables and welders qualification records.
• Assist internal performance and system audits to monitor compliance with quality assurance plan, and also with other contractual QA/QC requirements and requirements imposed by work plans (in the absence of the GM).
• Prepare and conduct regulatory audits.
• Arranging and undertaking staff training for Lonestar QMS.
• Track correction of detected non-conformances to QA policies and procedures, and to safety disposal procedures.
• Assist GM to statistically analyze QC results and update control limits including performing trend analyses, to determine ongoing validity of analytical systems.Maintain individual certifications and professional society memberships as required by certifying agencies or the Section Supervisor.
• Review and verifies client technical requirements in the Job Information form.
• Review and signed computerized (if required) reports.
• Controlling instrument calibration, maintain employees’ personal files (records), personnel certification, resume updates, company profile and pre-qualification.
• Undertaking induction and documentation of new staff.
• Liaison with Lonestar Corporate Quality System Officers.
• Liaison with customer quality personnel in matter of specific procedures.
• To raise, investigate and resolve non-conformance reports and customer complaints.
• Sign off closed job files as per document checklist.
• Verified and sign Work Summary Checklist.
• Responsible for the update and maintenance of the test equipment record, which is listed in Non-Disposable Equipment Computer Data Base (NECDB).
• Maintaining a log of employees in terms of indoctrination sessions
