Key Deliverables as HOD Mechanical
> Modifying cooler supporting beam to avoid shearing of plate bolts, cooler grate plate, clinker breaker hammers, cylinder & taper block, & plate supporting beam, hydraulic cylinder replacement and DPC rail replacement.
> Changing coal mill blower pulley to increase the speed and classifier cone replacement.
> Accountable for:-
o CKP planetary gearbox overhauling, hydraulic cylinder, table and rollers replacement.
o RM &CM diaphragm and liners replacement, Bucket elevator belt replacement.
o Pre - heater cyclone & down comer duct and cyclone dip tube replacement.
o Kiln girth gear & pinion reversal.
o Repositioning of kiln tire by modifying the retainer ring, repair of burner pipe, kiln inlet and outlet tip casting replacement.
Cost Saving
> Modifying vibrating chute for power saving. Accountable for in house repair of bobcat and forklift.
> Reducing mechanical budget from 16 Million to 12 Million Dirham’s.
> Responsible for In - house fabrication of weigh feeder belt.
> Implementing replacement of oil based on condition monitoring report & saved up to 100, 000 dirham’s per year.
> Conducting sourcing of alternative supplier for supply of oil for cost reduction.
> Changing cement mill auxiliary gear box oil from mineral to synthetic for increasing drain interval of oil and avoiding temperature increasing.

Forecasting
> Responsible for pin pointing & identifying vibration problems by spectrum analysis and dynamic balancing of machinery.
> Tracking the thickness of diaphragms and forecasting diaphragm replacement for raw mill and cement mill.
> Forecasting belt bucket elevator belt replacements and forecasting of pre heater bag filter bags replacement.

Project
> Overseeing erection & commissioning of CKP pre - grinder and auxiliaries.

Key Deliverables as HOD Planning
> Conducted vibration analysis, visual inspection, thickness measurements & equipment lubrication.
> Planned & coordinated various department works related with maintenance.
> Coordinated daily equipment stoppage (if any) with Production Department.
> Looked after shutdown activities and weekly job planning.
> Accountable for major equipment stoppage analysis and prepared action plans.
> Coordinated and follow up. Prepared and executed weekly planning meeting.

> Maintained cooler, hammer crusher, DPC, ball mill, belt bucket elevator, o - sepa, belt conveyors, screw conveyor gear box roto packer machine, vibrating screen, coal stacker reclaimer, wagon tippler and coal crusher.
> Planned spares and updated stock levels of spare parts. Updated the technical documents.
> Ensured availability of necessary tool & tackles in the right quantity and in good working condition.

> Accountable for:-
o Capital budgeting, project development, planning and execution of major capital jobs.
o Erection and commissioning of pre - grinder for cement mill, belt conveyors, chain bucket elevator, de - dusting filters, process filter and fans.
> Coordinated with:-
o Capital jobs for successful completion; with contractors during small projects and special maintenance jobs. Functioned as drawing designer.
o Purchase and Store Department.
o Contractor / supplier for delivery schedule and quality of projects or material respectively.
