Key areas of responsibilities include serving as the line manager for the Research and Academic Category Manager. Supervising and monitoring all category plans, sourcing strategies, negotiation strategies, development & optimization of business efficiency programs and strategic supplier relationship & operations management. Key Achievements at KAUST since 2010:
• Successfully Lead the Facility Management Contracting Strategy Implementation team reporting to the Executive Vice President of KAUST
• Managed the sourcing of the largest Facility Management contracts with the highest negotiated savings
• Initiated the customer-based procurement focusing on Customer Relationship Management
• Participated in the establishment and in-sourcing of the Procurement department and future transformation

Key areas of responsibilities included managing and coordinating the Facility Management and later the Engineering & Construction contracting units with actions comprising of high value and high risk sourcing strategies, contract design, drafting and competitive bidding leading the technical/commercial evaluations, negotiation and award.

Construction Contracting Experience: Research and Development Centers, Residential & Recreational Facilities, Facility Upgrade & Rectification.
Key areas of responsibilities included Contract Management, Supplier Management, Administration of Supplemental Workforce Contracts, Procurement Reporting, Strategic Purchasing, Travel Management, Supplier Pre-Qualification & Registration and Business Continuity Planning for the Supply-Chain Management department.
Procurement Tools: SAP, Click4Supplier (Power User) and MODIAS (Power User)
Key Achievements at Siemens:
• Established the Contract Management unit (incl. the creation of all standard operating procedures, templates and the supplier pre-qualification/registration program)
• Implemented and managed the supplier management program roll-out for Saudi Arabia
• Managed all procurement reporting for Saudi Arabia and enhanced the reporting capabilities aligning it with Siemens AG global reporting requirements
As a Savola Fellowship Program trainee, Savola provided a sixteen-course program in core management and leadership skills enhancement as well as two full-time summer trainings as an acting Assistant Brand Manager for Al-Osra sugar at the United Sugar Company.
