Responsible for overlooking relationships with clients (Banks), following up on day to day work and flow of business, insure that all the business is on track avoiding delays in payments, holding business meetings for correspondents locally and regionally, analyzing financial statements upon which a credit risk and bank risk are studied.
1. Contributed in increasing the business volume handled by the International Division over the years
2. Grew a diversified portfolio of contacts (Iraq mainly)
3. Developed reporting tools and extensively worked on the organization and improvement of the International Division's MIS

Key contributions and responsibilities:
1. Initiate, develop, and follow-up relations with local and foreign banks and specialized financial institutions
2. Manage relationships with local and international banks including updating of terms and conditions, procedures, AML documents, annual reports, and monitoring of credit line utilization
3. Study and compare proposals for correspondent banks (credit lines, account terms and conditions, etc .)
4. Prepare credit analysis for banks for eventual credit lines granting or case-by-case risk-involving transactions (L/Cs, L/Gs, forfaiting, syndications, etc )
5. Prepare statistical reports on bank's trade volume with correspondent banks and overseas affiliates (L/C issuances, exposure on foreign banks, nostro/vostro accounts reporting, and other economical reports)
6. Monitor clients (Banks) portfolio i.e. deposits, exposure, L/C volumes
7. Provide support and guidance for branches and departments for issues related to correspondent banking
8. Participate in meetings with local and foreign bank representatives, prepare info cards and call reports
9. Duties include travelling to targeted countries i) to meet with banks, officials and businessmen and ii) to attend seminars and conferences
10. Prepare Presidency letters and Memos.
