Witnessing of sampling & testing of the following materials according to AASHTOO, ASTM & B.S Specifications:

Subgrade (classification, proctor, CBR).

Subbase & base course (gradation, plasticity index, proctor, CBR, sand equivalent, abrasion, compaction).

Binder & wearing course (gradation, bitumen content, marshalldensity, VMA, air voids, compaction & other tests).

Concrete (slump, compressive strength).

Steel structure (tensilestrength, yield strength).

Roles & Responsibilities:

Review Prequalification documents for each Supplier, Subcontractor& Third Party for each activity for approval.
Review Method Statements for each activity including the required equipment and Drawings and Safety requirements & ITPs for approval.
Review Quality reports which submitted from main contractor via Lab. Third party.

Witnessing of sampling & testing of the following materials according to AASHTOO, ASTM & B.S Specifications:

Clay Core Impervious(Sieveanalysis, plasticity index, max. dry density & compaction test).

Protection filter (Sieveanalysis, compaction test, organic matter).

Chimney & Blanket drain filters (Sieveanalysis, compaction test, organic matter).

Riprap protection, Rock toe & Dump rock (Sieveanalysis, specific gravity &absorption, abrasion).

Sides shells (Sieveanalysis, max. dry density).

Gravel protection of downstream(Sieveanalysis).

Dumped rocks (Specific gravity &absorption, gradation).

Slump & compressive strength of concrete.

Steel structure (tensilestrength, yield strength, elongation %).

•Witnessing of cubes crushing for each block.
•Witnessing of sampling & testing geotextile.
•Witnessing of pre & post compaction.

Test the following materials according to American &British specification AASHTOO, ASTM, B.S Specifications:

Sending of each test report of each activity to consultant for review and approval

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Test the following materials according to American &British specification AASHTOO, ASTM, B.S
•Embankment materials (classification and compaction test), and rock fill materials (specific gravity, absorption), compaction test (survey method or plate bearing method)
• Sub-base & base coarse (gradation, P.I, abrasion, sand equivalent, proctor, compaction, C.B.R & other tests.).
•Binder & wearing coarse (gradation, Gmm, air voids, V.M.A, Marshall stability, Marshall flow, Marshall stiffness, loss of stability, Marshall density, compaction, thickness, bitumen %).
