Active engagement with Project team for monthly planning, forecasting and shipment execution to meet customer demand.
Ensure all shipments happen through most efficient and timely manner adhering to Emerson Corporate logistics process and procedures and Compliance norms.
Work close with Stores & Workshop supervisor for all inbound or outbound shipments without any delay
Preparing Shipping documents in line with Emerson Trade compliance & UAE customs regulations
Responsible for managing freight forwarders performance matrix
Provide Cost analysis and suggesting cost-saving solutions to the department.
Participation in monthly sales plan meeting by providing relevant logistics information & weekly review.
Timely update of shipment details to projects / operations.
Well knowledge of JAFZA Customs and Keep record of Customs & JAFZA related Documents/ BoE
Coordinate and manage offsite storage locations
Any other functions as deemed by supervisor at time to time
Warehouse Coordination for Inventory Control
Monitoring deposits and demurrage costs and effectively bringing the costs under control
Identifying areas to improve and providing innovative Solutions for moving Freight at very minimal costs

Preparing Purchase Orders to different suppliers (Air & Sea Freight Orders)

Handling all modes of transportations and deliveries via Air, Sea and Land

Preparing Import, Export & Internal Transfer of Ownership documents as per customs requirements

Preparing and handling L/C documents

Experienced in Documentation using MS Word and Excel

Handling Imports of stock consignments from different suppliers/destinations

Well Knowledge about INCO Terms

Clearing and forwarding of Import shipments (Air & Sea)

Supervising stores employees activities

Coordination with the Sales Forces to accomplish the deliveries on a timely manner.

Coordination with Finance Dept to ensure the payments terms are fulfilled prior to dispatch of materials

Getting price quotes from forwarders for Courier, Air, Sea & Land shipments for imports, export (bargaining to get special quotes for the big volume & heavy shipments)

Arranging both Air and Sea shipment directly from the suppliers premises to our clients destinations with necessary shipping documents

Follow-up with the overseas suppliers on the status of order deliveries of Air & Sea shipments periodically.

Follow up with suppliers for all type of discrepancies (requesting credit notes etc...)

Stock control, transfer and adjustment upon approval

Coordination with the stores at the time of monthly/annual stock taking

Taking care of Air & Sea Exports & Import Clearances

Booking space for dense cargo and getting rates/negotiating for a better rates from various Airlines & for Export shipment for the ultimate customer

Export Document processing with customs, Preparation of AWB and other documents for all Shipments and preparation of DGR Form as Per the DGR Regulations

Coordination of movement of Export cargo with the shipper, Airline and Dnata

Cargo Consolidation as per the space and customer requirements

Trans shipment movements and clearance \

Tracking shipments through online and keep on updating the status

Checking with Airlines for the cargo arrival status and clearances

Import Customs Clearances and arranging delivery to Customer’s Facility

Quoting Rates to the Customers and agents as per their needs and keep excellent business relationship with them.

Coordination with Warehouse/Logistics department for collection and delivery of Cargo.

Liaising with Customer on Day to Day Basis for the Preparation of Documents/Movements of cargo and reporting the same to Manager

Preparation and controlling of Exit documents and customs Deposits for Export shipments

Customer Billing to be done on Daily or Weekly Basis, and Follow up during month end for Payment collection

Well versed with Jebel Ali Customs documentation and procedure involved.

Experienced in E-Mirsal 1/ 2 Clearances and E-Payments

Dealing with Third party Logistics and Supply chain management as per customer’s requirements

Coordinating with various courier services like FedEx and DHL Services

Arranging Road freight services to all GCC Countries

Detailed knowledge about Sea Freight Import and Export shipments and Documents
