1)Planning, designing, developing and supervising electrical installations, operations and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment for power generation such as transformer, generator, HT/LT panel, RMU, UPS, etc.
2)Developing electrical distribution systems for the above industrial applications and plan these systems using recognized industry standards and specifications. Preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings and regulations for the use of electric power equipment.
3)Designing and producing drawings of electrical systems, preparing Electrical Lighting Layout, Single Line Diagram etc., using computer-aided design (Auto CAD) software.
4)Preparing technical specifications of all the electrical systems. Developing test requirements and assisting in electrical equipment checkout and startup. Supervising construction plans and specifications and draw up contracts. Selecting cables and switch gear.
5)Verifying whether all the electrical equipments brought to site are as per the technical specifications mentioned in the tender. Determining delivery and installation schedules for machines, switchgear, cables and fittings.
6)Reviewing and checking all assigned project electrical installation drawings for compliance with all company and project instructions (One-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.) of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements. Ensuring completed works meet specifications and safety standards as per statutory and requirements.
7)Coordinating works at site; assisting in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements, organizing and managing materials in the making of electrical parts, machines, appliances and equipment, supervising operating and maintenance staff; arranging technical meetings with client, contractor and manufacturers; guiding the installation team for proper installation.
8)Developing technical bid tabulation to support the selection of major electrical equipment
9)Preparing Bill at various stages of the project; taking combined measurement with the contractor and cross verifying the bill raised by the contractor.
