•Provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of Electrical engineering staff and design work
•Coordinate and supervise the Electrical engineering aspects of the Operator Projects to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule.
•Supervise, oversee and coordinate regular and timely technical reviews of Electrically related Engineering deliverable developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design optimization in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
•Closely interface with corporate departments and coordinate/interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and contractors/consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Engineering execution and integrity.
•Ensure quality and accuracy of General Engineering Services Contractor’s and EPC Contractor’s Electrical engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection.
•Supervise and manage the review and approval of General Engineering Services Contractors and EPC Contractor’s work, ensuring compliance with Operator Projects specifications, relevant codes and standards, and best industry practices.
•Coordinate the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models. Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to design optimization and validation.
•Coordinate the technical guidance required to develop new specifications and update existing specifications in line with Company requirements.

1. Ensure that all technical designs and specifications from contractors are reviewed and in alignment with the client’s specific requirements
2. Effectively communicate and coordinate between all Electric team members and all other disciplines, to ensure mutual awareness of requirements and sharing of information and common resources.
3. Review and approve the shop drawings, Material Submittals with respect to the project Specification and Standards of practice submitted by contractors.
4. Review responsibilities to subject matter experts as necessary. Coordinate, review, and consolidate all electrical review comments.
5. Endorse all electrical deliverables produced by the contractors.
6. Review, provide inputs/comments on other discipline drawings and documents.
7. Respond to technical queries during the Contractor tender periods. Review and Input during the tender evaluation for the selection of Contractors.
8. Active participation in the various design reviews, workshops and optimization studies.
9. Provide clarifications, technical inputs for the Contractor queries & requests.
10. Provide review and inputs to resolve the technical issues, and change orders raised by the Contractor.
11. Review Contractor’s material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise the Technical Manager on the appropriateness of the proposals.
12. Ensure the application of correct standards in the design and development of project deliverables.
13. Attending testing, start-up and commissioning by contractors of all electrical systems.
14. Ensure effective communication and coordination with other peers, all disciplines, Section Chief and project management team.
15. Forecast trends anticipate potential problems and difficulties meeting milestones or budget.
16. Respond to all site requests and clarifications in accordance to project procedures.
17. Assures the contractor’s Design and Material Deliverables are as per project requirements.

• Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
• Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
• Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
• Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts;
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services;
• Preparing reports for head office;
• Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
• Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
• Helping in the design of custom-made products;
• Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
• Identifying customer requirements;
• Designing systems and products, reading design specifications and technical drawings;
• Researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales;
• Liaising with others in the design team, clients and contractors;
• Attending meetings on site;
• Designing and conducting tests, recording, analyzing and interpreting test data;
• Proposing modifications and retesting products;
• Qualifying the final product or system;
• Servicing and maintaining equipment;
• Preparing product documentation, Shop DWGs, Letters, Inspection Orders and other paper works.
