Duties and Responsibilities: • Plans, controls and monitors the actual execution of all electrical related works of the project, to ensure that the project will be done in accordance with all the approved construction drawings, contract documents, specifications and all applicable standards.
• Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc.,
required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
• Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the electrical work groups at site.
• Plans the execution of all electrical related works and coordinates the works to mechanical and civil groups.
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis.
• Directly responsible for the safety of all electrical groups' personnel of the project by ensuring that the project
execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Acting as the main technical adviser on the site for subcontractors, labours and operatives.
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
• Analyzing Electrical, Telephone, HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage and CCTV system Technical drawings in co-ordination with all civil drawings.
• Planning for all the Electrical works in accordance with cash flow and early finishing of the project for the company.
• Arranging and conducting site inspections with consultants for every stage-wise completion of Electrical works.
• Making markings for excavation of trenches for external underground services like (power cables, telephones Etc., )
• Reviewing all quality related activities & preparing all quality related reports on site.
• Coordinating with execution team for project quality system.
• Collecting the payments from Government office after finishing the stage by stage works as per contract agreement and work schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Programming for projects using PLC (AB, ABB, Keyence, Fanuk, Seimens, Mitsubishi), SCADA (Wonderware Intouch,
Intellusion Fix)
• Teaching trainees about programming for their projects and testing them for their certification eligibility.
Project on ‘Estimation and Installation of Microprocessor based digital contact-less speed measuring system with Inductive Proximity Sensor’ was done during Dec – May 2012. Mini project on ‘Automatic street light controller’ was done during Feb 2011. Personal two days industrial visit to ‘Vestas wind farm, Aralvaimozhy’ out of own eagerness to gain practical knowledge. Personal industrial visit to ‘220KV/33-11KV Substation, Nagercoil’ for four days in order to get practical Knowledge about the subject ‘Transmission and Distribution’. Presented a paper on the topic Wireless mobile phone charging using microwaves, at Cape institute of technology, on 2 & 3 September 2011. Presented a poster on the topic E-Waste management at Cape Institute of Technology, on 2 & 3 Sep 2011 and won second prize. Presented a paper on the topic Speed control of induction motor, at Sethu Institute of Technology, on 9th September 2011. Presented a paper on the topic Speed control of three phase induction motor using single phase supply along with static convertors and active power factor correction, at Bethlehem College of Engineering, on 17th September 2011. Presented a paper on the topic Speed control of three phase induction motor using single phase supply along with static convertors, at The Rajaas Engineering College on 28th September 2011, and won second prize. Presented a paper on the topic Speed control of three phase induction motor using single phase supply along with static convertors, at Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technology on 23rd January 2012, and won third prize. Presented a paper on the topic Generation of power from municipal waste, a National level technical symposium at Loyola institute of technology and science on 1st February 2012.
Trained well in PLC and SCADA and worked in this same institution as an application engineer....
Project on ‘Automatic Traffic Light Controller based on Embedded system’ was done during Nov – April 2009.
