• Summary
Lead a group of procurement analyst to support capital project (around $40 M/year) and PTVI operational in formulating procurement strategies in order to ensure a more efficient procurement process and assure goods/services can provided on time as project timeline
• Main Responsibilities
o Manage direct procurement functions, supervise and manage a group of procurement analyst

Summary
Lead and manage cargo inbound and outbound from around the world to sorowako site and
otherwise, using the best shipment strategy to get the most efficient and effective logistic cost in
order to fullfill customers demand on time with still prioritizing safety factor.
Manage two 3PL (third party logistic) contracts for seafreight/airfreight, 1 courier services contract
for airfreight, 1 inland transportation services contract for regional cargo, 1 inland fuel transportation
service contract, with total annual spend around ± $ 15M/Year, lead 7 Vale’s employees and 40
contractor’s employees including 6 expatriate as part of my shipping and traffic team.
Manage consolidation warehouse in Surabaya and Singapore to ensure quick cargo turn around,
inventory accuracy, safe handling and storage, maximum utilisation of container and meet the
shipment cut-off date to satisfy customers demand
Manage one charter container vessel (1.946 DWT) that sail Surabaya - Malili vv twice a month.
Manage movement of 80.000+ RT/year cargos, 4000+ teus containers/year, 15.000+ Ton/uar break
bulk and 156.000+ Kg/year airfreight
Main Responsibilities
o Plan, monitor and control vendor promise delivery of any equipment and goods
purchased from various country or city to the nearest freight forwarder to ensure
meeting the shipment cut-off date and anticipate of possibly freight be upgraded to
satisfy customer’s demand
o Plan, organize and control loading/stowage plan on board ship prepared by sea freight
forwarder to ensure first discharge are last loaded, deepest draft, trim are meeting with
tide level upon arrival Malili, and ship’s stability are always positive
o Plan, organize and control leased container movements in order to ensure quick turn
around and eliminate container demurrage
o Ensure the conformance, accuracy and timely courier of the shipping document to
ensure they are arrived in due time and received completely
o Plan, Monitor and Control operating/repair expenditures, develop and implement
initiatives in order to maintain or reduce cost
o Ensure all cargo ship to Indonesia meet international shipment regulation and comply
with goverment regulation from origin, and also comply with Indonesian government
regulation
o To Review receiving reports, feedback freight forwarder and buyer for any short
shipment or cargo defects due to substandard packing, improper stowage in container
or on board ship in order to prevent recurrence which may result in production loss

Summary
As procurement analyst my main responsibilities are handling procurement process to
support mining operations and also formulating procurement strategies in order to ensure a more

, covering almost all modules in ECC (FI, CO, PS, MM, WM, TD, SD, PP, QM, EC, PM)

classification concept that will be use for prequalification project and as assessor in this project

o Analyzing 160000+ inventory items to determine the appropriate procurement strategy
using a portfolio analysis approach

o Calculate, analyze and decide parameters of ROP, ROQ and Safety Stock from every stock item based on usage history, usage plan, lead time and item classificationto gain the most optimum parameter value
o Maintain more than ± 130.000 line items specification, ensure adequate data on description, attribute values, correctness of manufacture and part number, drawing and documentation reference, base equipment detail, plant specific data
o Perform physical check verification, analyze and standardize material based on auslang standard for not fully catalogued stock item and non-stock materials (direct purchase) then compare with material master data to find interchangeable items and eliminate duplication
o Research alternative specification and alternative sources to enhance catalogue with acceptable material specification and source in order to reduce cost and monopoly by single source supplier/manufacture/brand
o Provide standard technical specification to assign it’s storage and handling procedure as per manufactures guide
o Ensure all material comply with PT. INCO EHS regulation standard and modify their buying description e.g. Chemical Item must complete with MSDS, Lifting equipment must complete with test certificate
