* Unix administrator responsible for Power Servers IBM and Storage in an enterprise company that required 24/7 up time, and scalability toy locations:-
o AIX System Administration, Installation, configuration, Performance Tuning.
o Build structure for machine server (vg, lv, fs, mount point).
o Responsible for Back/Restore process.
• Taking database backups \[hot backup (rman incremental) + cold backup (full backup) + operating system image\] and Restore full backup.
• Check logs of \[rman + full backup+ os image\].
o Create instance and (increase + decrease size).
o upgrade operating system to AIX 6.1 then to AIX 7.
o Add and delete and make (groups and users ) on AIX .
o Some AIX administration tasks (HMC restart, shutdown, change network setting ).
o Add /remove (processors, memory, and physical adapter) on servers p570, p 595, p770 from HMC .
o Configure / manage / admin HMCs and LPARs of I-Series.
o Running Nmon analyzer to get all info about performances.
o Provide daily administration tasks.
o Daily health check about (, size, errors ) and performance tunning.
o LPARS configurations and implementation with and vios .
o Participating with Oracle DB team to enhancing the operating system and DB
Performance.
o Install / configure / update / admin AIX Servers.
o Risponsible for Tune the AIX server performance .
o IBM NIM Installation and Configuration. (Backup AIX And Restore AIX From
NIM Server ) .
o IBM Virtualization system VIOS server:
* (installation and configuration, Create Lpar and vois servers with HMC console ).
* (Processor and memory and I/O virtualations ).
* (Mapping and document lpar with VIOS server ).
o Upgrade firmware to (HMC, servers ).
o Hands on IBM Live Partition Mobility and clusters .
o Hands on IBM system director .
o analyzing and resolving problems associated with the operating system servers and hardware.
* Storage :
o Create luns on storage (IBM DS 4800, IBM DS 4700) and mapping it to servers (IBM, MS ).
o Create Hosts and assing Ports on DataStorage manager program.
o Array Creation, LUN Creation, LUN Mapping.
o Run scripts on Ds to collect performance reports.
o Collect data from storages (logs).
o Implement battery failure recovery plan.
o Construct Hard Disk backup and recovery strategies and procedures.
o Using OS commands to collect statistics about ( free/used ) size of storages(ds 4800, ds 4700) .
o Collect errors information to open calls with IBM.
*SAN Switchs:
o Administration on ( IBM Brocade& Cisco MDS 9000) SAN Switches .
o Alias Creation, Zoning Creation, Device Mapping.
o Make Zones between servers and storages.
o Manage server, storage and SAN switch connectivity
o Making full documentation for all Fibers cables (WWWN & Ports ) which conncet to servers and storages.

(New Building DataCenter and DR)
o Had a lead role in building the new data center and DR for all Ghabbour Servers, participating and supervising the installation and integration of all the main componenets of the new data center.
o Datacenter new Design and Implementing new technologies including (Virtualization, Management, , New IBM power servers, EMC storage and new Backup system\] to be fully adopted .

*Vmax storage:
o Array Creation, LUN Creation, LUN Mapping on VMAX EMC storage .
o Make zone in san switch MDS 9000 .
* Networker 7.6 backup solution :
o Setup networker client on server ( IBM & Oracle & Microsoft ).
o EMC Networker (Legato) ( Server Configuration and Client Configuration).
o Backup and restore.
o Create groups and client.
o Assign devices (tape ) for each client.
