The contracts involved in-situ sampling and risk assessment of suspect materials, photography and logging of suspect materials and air monitoring for background Asbestos fibre levels. All current British legislation was adhered to and final reporting to the client was undertaken.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
A key role involves the site supervision of a major contaminated land remediation project for Dumfries and Galloway Enterprise. My duties included the design and implementation of Site Investigations targeting specific chemical hazards, testing for gases and volatile organic compounds, health and safety on the site, supervision of operatives and plant operations and continual testing for acid contamination during excavation of the site (1999)


Training officer and project management on a major Asbestos stripping operation for BP in
Azerbaijan. The post included supervision of Asbestos removal, air monitoring, Asbestos identification and training local operatives in Asbestos analysis, current UK legislation and safe working practice (1997-98)
