• Responsible for multiple event targets/budgets, delivery of delegate revenue circa US$2million per year, acquisition of 2500+ VIPs, facilitation of 2000+ pre-arranged meetings and 2000+ on site introductions, throughout the year.
• Responsible for business planning, on site delivery and experience, design features, cost control, staff scheduling and budgeting.
• Working closely with other functions including marketing, production and customer service.
• Managing VVIP guests at ministerial level, including all logistical elements and responsible for protocol, transport, accommodation and meetings.
• Ensuring our VVIP and VIP guests have an excellent experience by mentoring a team that puts customer service first.
• Crucial member of the project team running the largest Terrapinn event globally, with over 12000 attendees, 300+ sponsors/exhibitors, 1000 VIP guests.
• Responsible for all team recruitment, successful promotion of team members has required year round recruitment to maintain staffing levels.
• Managing multiple events simultaneously, requiring complex staffing schedules to ensure successful delivery.
• Responsible for all delegate revenue, VIP acquisition, awards table sales, all elements of Networking pre-event and onsite, ME Office Salesforce CRM champion.
• Proposed concept for team, recruited, trained and successfully implemented new Networking & Delegate Sales Team consisting 7-9 staff. The same model has now been rolled out in 2 other offices.
• Managing key client accounts, including government partners and large MNO’s.
• Developed new measurable team KPI’s for sales team, which were effective and resulted in a 20% increase in delegate sales in 2015.
• Implemented new Networking Platform, trained the ME office and delivered a seamless roll out for our customers.
• Trained the Networking Team to sell to key buyers, by driving face-face meetings and coaching on SPIN sales, implemented this successfully in the second half of 2014, delivering over US$100, 000 of revenue.
• Created new networking timelines and successfully implemented them across the ME business.
• Responsible for weekly and monthly one to ones and team training/
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director.
• Voted Team player of the year 2014 and for influencing others 2015. Responsible for quarterly socials since 2013.
