Managing new business sales across the GCC working with a sales team of five employees. With new business sales I have tackled several different verticals ranging from private companies through to quasi-government and government entities including healthcare, oil and gas, STEM sectors through to banking and aviation, securing several new accounts which form a foundation of our operations globally. Through innovative sales channels and tactics the GCC has developed into our most successful geography across all regions.

Key responsibilities include: Telesales, Client Identification and development, Client retention, Regional pipeline development, Full sales cycle process.

My role as a wealth consultant involves a great deal of research into potential clients, identifying specific client targets and industries on which to focus. This is done in a number of different ways such as networking and self-promoted marketing. However by far the most common method used is by telephone, both cold calling and referral calling are used extensively as a means by which to generate new clients and business.
Once a meeting had been arranged I would meet with the client, present a ten minute introduction about the company and then conduct a full financial review to assess their individual financial needs and from there I provide them with my recommendation, and they become a client. Once they become a client, it is my responsibility to meet with the client on a quarterly basis to review their financial situation and keep them up to date with any changes in the market and the anticipated shifts in market trends moving forward. I obviously manage and maintain their portfolio according to the economy and market forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Development - generating new client leads from a number of different methods; extensive use of cold calling and building client relationships over the phone. I also organised and arranged my own network and marketing events such as golf events.
• Portfolio Management - building my clients a well-rounded and balanced portfolio which meet their individual needs and requirements as well as their attitude to risk within the markets.
• Specialist areas included - Equities, Bonds, Structured Products, Platform Services, Online Trading, Tax free savings planning, Offshore Pensions and Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Forex Currency platform, frozen UK pensions (QROPS). Expatriate life assurance.

I solely ran the Aberdeen office, and developed several new key customer accounts in the first quarter of 2013. I also expanded on existing customer profiles of £280, 000, in the first quarter, along with over £150, 000 worth of new customer orders. To establish the company’s presence in the area I conducted press releases and advertising; in addition to field sales via cold calling, internal sales lead, and scheduled appointments. This obviously required a great deal of personal organisation and a professional etiquette with the clientele. In the course of 2013 starting from scratch and being the sole presence for the company in Aberdeen I generated £874, 000 in new customer orders and £385, 000 existing customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Account Management - Managing key existing customer accounts; ensuring the customer feels valued. This included regular site visits to the end users of our products, alongside ensuring the production of products are in accordance to the quotation and delivery schedule stated on our quotations.
• Pioneering - Developing new customer leads, producing several press releases, actively communicating with potential clients on a regular basis to set up initial meetings and inevitably an initial enquiry. Looking for new customers in wider vertical markets to create a more diverse company portfolio for Cyrus-RW Group.
• Office Management - Running the office on a day to day basis, producing quotations for our clients, regularly dealing with suppliers. Ensuring accounts are up to date, and liaising with our production teams to ensure the needs of the customers are met.

Cyrus-RW Group Ltd: Group Sales & Business Development Manager
To service key customer accounts worth over £500, 000 per annum. I reported directly to the Group Sales Director and worked within an experienced sales team. Alongside dealing with these key accounts I was tasked with establishing potential new business, which I did with significant success. As a company the average annual turnover is £10-£12 million, my efforts accounted for between 15-18% of this business.
In January of 2012, I was relocated from our head office in Cardiff to our Northern Division in Newcastle. During the initial two months of this new role I project managed a contract worth in excess of £250, 000 within SSI Steelworks. Following the successful completion of this contract, my role as an out and out Sales Manager resumed. Although my primary objective was to develop new business within the region. Increasing the sales for this particular site from £650, 000 per annum to marginally under £1, 000, 000 over the period January 2012-December2012.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development - Driving new customer focused campaigns to promote Cyrus-RW as a quality supplier and servicer of mechanically engineered products. Including visits to our works to enable the end user to establish the capacities and facilities that we as a potential supplier are able to offer.
• Project Management - After winning a £250, 000 contact as part of the SSI Steel works restart project. I was assigned the task of project management. Essentially producing a scope of works and timeframe for completion of the various stages involved. Managing out workforce on site, managing subcontractor’s onsite. Dealing with suppliers and purchasing of day to day materials. Ensuring health and safety requirements were met. Ensuring all quality and certification documents were in place. Managing costing of purchases verses total profit.

2nd Lieutenant في British Army

September 2008 - June 2010.
British Army; Royal Military Academy Sandhurst: Officer Cadet.
I joined the British Army as an Officer Cadet at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The ten months of training was divided into three terms, all of which I completed with a high level of success, I was in the top third of all cadets for overall performance. I was allocated a confirmed place into the Household Cavalry. Commissioned into the Blues & Royals of the House Hold Cavalry reaching the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
Unfortunately I suffered a knee injury whilst playing rugby for the Army. As a result I had major knee surgery and placed into rehabilitation training, despite making significant levels of recovery I was not able to fully recover from the injury. In June of 2010 I was medically discharged from The British Army.
