Current Position- Electronics Support Engineer - A ( Procurement & Supply chain Management)
Key Duties
(Logistics) (Samsung, Tecnogas)
- Supply chain Management - Forecasting on Procurement of Samsung Spare-parts from Samsung towards distribution among various KSA branches against Back Orders, Counters Sales and Safety Stock.
- Sales Forecasting -Seasonal, Safety Stock, Counter Sales
- Inbound & Outbound Process management
- Safety Stock Returns
- Initial orders forecasting.
- Training for Procurement Team
- Service Development Programs - Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Technical Service management Assistance
- Communications with Samsung Logistics & other Freight forwarders (Aramex, DHL, TNT, Al Naql) towards clearance of various shipments.
- Parts Claim Management on DNA (Delivery Not Available), LTP (Long Term Pending), CNA (Conditionally Not Available) parts.
- Preparation & Issuance of Quotations to third party vendors.
- Clearance of Ministry Reported Cases by coordinating with the liaising team of both UMG and Samsung.
- Monitoring under Consumption of Spares for the periodic removal of dead stock items and return of non-moving items to the vendor.
- Tracks orders and back orders, obtain all relevant information from CRM or the customer to ensure the request is responded correctly
- Coordinates with the warehouse & logistics supervisor to locate and supply the required parts as quickly as possible.
- Carries on investigations for complex issues and discuss them with technicians or supervisors to resolve parts related problems of the customers
- Keeps contact with CRM and update on the availability and ETA of required parts.
- Intermittent site visits and training for storekeepers and technicians on Microsoft dynamic GP usage and spare-parts.
• Product Documentation based on JSS 0251-01:2002 Defense Standard. ( Preparation of Technical Manuals, User Handbooks (UHB's), IMWT and CBT for Defense Devices)
• Designing of Flowcharts, Diagrams & Brochures for various Defense Devices \[Akash Missile System: - Flight Level Radar (FLR), Flight Control Center (FCC), Squadron Control Center (SCC)\]
• Sub Contract Project Management - Monitoring the Creation of Various Computer Based Training Manuals (CBT).
• Conversion of Complex Technical Level Documents to User Level.
• Supervising the Development of Various Manuals for Defense Products.
• Technical Data Procurement from Research & Development wing and using SAP.
M.Sc Electronics from University of Kerala Specialized in Embedded Systems, Internet Programming, Digital Image Processing. Project: RFID Based Electronic Industrial Intrusion Prevention System with Password Protection, done at KELTRON, Thiruvananthapuram.
