• Manages / Coordinates a team of Document Controllers
• Sets up the Document Control system (Document Filing System/ Document Control Process/ Archiving etc.)
• Ensure Project Document Filing Index will be updated as and when required or when scope for improvement is identified by Audit staff suggestions or Project needs.
• Clarifications regarding Document Control issues.
• Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, subcontractors and inter-department involved for any technical clarifications of submittals and drawings.
• Responsible to support the Project Management Team (PMT) by accomplishing various activities Work includes document distribution, filing clerk, updating correspondence and computer operation for proper and efficient documentation control.
• Responsible to controlling the flow of documents, continuous updating of status, storage and retrieval of all project documents generated by Company in the course of performance of works relating to the Running Projects.
A detail-oriented Document Control with more than 10 years of increasingly responsible experience in handling Document Control and Administration. Managing company document control daily activities (submissions, document preparation, logging, dispatching, archiving and administrative functions).
Currently working as Document Controller with EGIS RAIL, DOHA, QATAR
