• Guide and supervise the team consist of 4 supervisors and 43 technicians for conducting inspection testing and maintenance of fire protection system (All water based and gas suppression system) and fire alarm system.
• Creating standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions and task list for conducting the ITM of Fire protection equipment’s based on reference of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association).
• Improve the productivity & quality of Technicians and fresh engineers by conducting technical development training program on-site and off-site for developing the technical skills.
• Notify the client about modifications needed for improving the reliability of the existing system and plan on execution on modification.
• Evaluating fire protection requirements for unprotected areas and selecting and designing suitable protection system for that area.
• Managing the overall budget of maintenance project by planning and scheduling the jobs in way that the overall man-hours are reduced maintaining the quality of the job.
• Participate in the client meetings along with sales team to provide technical engineering support and discuss the activities required to be included in Maintenance projects.
• Estimating of total cost required to complete the maintenance and other minor project based on man-hour and manpower calculations.
• Commissioning of new installed fire protection and fire alarm system by projects.
• Perform Quality Control and Quality Check on Breathing Air Apparatus like SABA and SCBA. Also perform Quality Check of other Safety Equipment like Harness, Lanyard and Gas Detector Systems after every use.
• Conducting training regarding use the breathing air apparatus like SABA (Scott) and SCBA (Cam Lock) for client (Shell Employees) and workers.
• Performs scheduled air quality checks and ensures operability of both electric and diesel compressors. Ensures that proper maintenance including air purification cartridge changes, oil changes and other filter changes have been performed and documented.
• Check the operation of gas monitors and perform calibration, bump test, functional test checks on H2S detection system and air breathing safety equipment.
Involved in FSAE project for designing and construction of Push rod type suspension of Forma type Race Car.
