• Production planning to make steel wire rope slings, chain slings, synthetic ropes, webbing slings and all the assemblies related to lifting
• Meeting all urgent requirement related with lifting for Marine, Engineering, Construction and Oil & Gas Field.
• Co-ordination with workshop supervisor to fabricate various end fittings required according to lifting plan.
• Organizing warehouse administration and inventory control for maintaining better quality.
• Provide guidance to schedule and coordinate various divisions of operation.
• Effectively lead, coach and develop a large work team to accomplish operational objectives.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems within deadlines.
• Responsible for purchasing, control inventory and raw material handling.
• Provide training to the new appointees.
• Plan work flow, manage multiple priorities and meet daily production targets while consistently reducing downtime.
• Develop new procedures and processes to improve production accuracy.
• Set up health and safety audit procedures and improve safety efficiencies.
• Establish and maintain acceptable quality levels with BSEN Standards for all assigned products.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and contractors to ensure delivery of key materials.
• Manage logistics, shipping, receiving, delivery and distribution including process improvement and problem resolution.
• Efficiently set and control operational budget.
Designation: Production Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
1) Production planning / scheduling for manufacturing process.
2) Handle day-to-day production issues.
3) Liaise closely with all departments on fulfilling delivery requirement.
4) Co-ordination with purchase department to purchase raw materials, tools and spares from suppliers.
5) Lead, train and guide the production team.
6) Hands-on required at times.
