Its a prestigious project for me that Upgrading HFM from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.3 with SSL and High availability where it will bear heavy load around 3000 users.
FCRS, Financial Consolidation Reporting System, generates financial data for HSBC as global. This requires now an upgrade to latest version of HFM 11.1.2.3. Being Tech Lead, I was solely responsible for the entire upgrade of all Hyperion components. There were 9 environments and 53 servers as part of the HFM upgrade.
Responsibilities
Technical Discussions with various stakeholders and counterparts like OS admin, Network
admin, DB admin etc
Prepare estimates on delivery dates
Execute and deliver before the estimated dates
Negotiate with Vendors on expediting the patch process and other vendor management services
Assist team members at technical issues

We Implemented Hyperion product suite will meet the business requirements related to financial planning, consolidation and reporting needs in Minor.
Contribution:
• In this project I played the role of Administrator and Integrator.
• Installed and Configured Hyperion suite in Distribution environment on windows.
• Taken complete integration module with Oracle EBS using ODI
• Developed all actual and budget data integration with EBS and Hyperion.
• Developed data loading process with HFM and Planning.
• Made most of the task automation like Metadata synchronization with Hyperion EPMA, Data loads and Backups.

This project is an upgrade project from Hyperion V9 9.3.1 to V11 11.1.2.1. The following products we migrated from 9v to 11v. Hyperion financial management (HFM) from 9.3.1 to 11.1.2.1
and they were using HAL as ETL tool with V9, where as in latest upgrade and we integrated V11 Hyperion system with ODI replacing HAL for planning metadata build all other products with 11.1.2.1 version and
Responsibilities:
• As a team member provided Hardware architecture plan and sizing for development, QA and production environments.
• Installed Hyperion 11.1.2.1 suite in distribution environment.
• Managed stop and start Hyperion environment in distribution environment.
• Configured MSAD Open LDAP and responsible for creating groups and assigning privileges to the users.

Central Bank Of Kenya is the central bank who manages the inflow and outflow of Kenyan currency. It is just like Reserve Bank of India.
It is one of my prestigious projects in my carrier as I am the only technical person handled for the complete implementation. We Implemented Hyperion product suite will meet the business requirements related to financial planning and reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
• Handled total Hyperion technical module alone at Onsite like Installation, Integration using ODI, Planning development and Migration.
• Actively identify and escalate issues and risks associated with the project to the Design Hyperion Environment in the organization. Assist in troubleshooting, and taking corrective action.

In oracle GL, separates the set of books will be maintained for BMI Bank at their head quarters. The main objective of consolidation process is to provide the consolidated financial statements of BMI as a group. And the Planning application used to organize and do the budgets by cycles and to found the interest Income & Expenses on their investment like different product by line of business & Cost Centers.
We Implemented Hyperion product suite will meet the business requirements related to financial planning, consolidation and reporting needs in BMI Bank.

Project Description:
The Finance information of Qantas is captured in a common repository which is known as Finance Data Warehouse (FDW). FDW uses Teradata Decision Expert (TDE) as ETL tool for loading data from Oracle ERP (Source System) and load it into FDW (Teradata). Hyperion Interactive Reporting tool is used for developing the reports. These reports will service the requirement to perform analysis for AR module of FDW. Specifically supports analysis of credit review cycles and customer profile classifications.
Contribution:
• Requirement gathering from onsite team for report development
• Responsible to deliver the all aspect from offshore relating to Hyperion issue within the time limit based on the issue priority.

The new versions for Hyperion products such has Hyperion Web Analysis have been tested in Oracle Hyperion Beta testing. The project involves Installation and Configuration of the specified tools, Designing the Database, building cube and loading data into the Cube, Generating of reports and testing them.
