•Well Engineering and Planning include Casing seat selection, Casing design, Casing running and jewellery, Drilling fluids, Hydraulics and hole cleaning, Cementing design, Torque and drag, Drill string design, Well abandonment, Well Completion design, Contingency planning.
•Gather and review offset well data in near by Wells for proper planning and execution.
•Prepare detailed Drilling Programme and Geo Technical Order (GTO).
•Execution of all drilling activities and well testing activities in conjunction with Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Supervisor as per the Drilling Programme and testing program.
•Prepare Day Vs Depth Curve, Look ahead and load outs for better planning of material movement and Drilling Programme execution at Rig Site.
•Preparation of End of Well reports, Lesson learnt, achievements and challenges, after action review report, updating well cost in Open Wells on daily basis, etc.

•Bid Evaluation Process which involves Preparation and Evaluation of Pre-qualification Criteria and Matrix for various Services and Tangibles, Preparation and Evaluation of Technical Bids, Preparation of Commercial Evaluation Strategies and timely input to Commercial and Procurement department related to Contract finalization.
•Preparation of Scope of Work for various services and tangibles.
•Preparation of Initial Cost Estimates, preparation of AFE
•Supply of equipment and material to the rig, OSV movement and chopper movement in co-ordination with the logistics and shore base team.

Currently, designated Drilling Engineer for Mumbai Offshore Block and extensively working on Well Engineering Design, Planning and Bid Evaluation for procurement of various Drilling Tangibles and Services for Mumbai Offshore Exploratory Drilling Project. Presently exploration is going on with a 2000 HP Cantilever type Jack Up Rig (Spud can type) with a water depth capability of 300 ft, carrying out an additional responsibility of a Well site Drilling Engineer.

Worked as a Drilling Engineer posted at office as well as at well site and associated with successful completion of different projects like:

• Cambey Project, Gujarat, India
• Rovi and Sarta project, Kurdistan, Iraq.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Duties involve execution, technical supervision of Drilling Operation in conjunction with the Drilling Supervisor; insure that all the drilling operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner whilst exercising good oilfield practice & Safety Policies & Procedures.

• Well Planning and Execution, conduct and document Casing Tallies, Well control calculation, Cement Calculations, Drilling fluid trends, Well bore hydraulics & Well Engineering calculations. Work with third party experts to develop well design and plans.

• Plan & co-ordinate Supply / Logistics of equipment and material requirements, inclusive service personnel. Make pre-planning of material movement as per the section wise material / equipment requirement.

• Prepare Daily Drilling Report . Prepare an End of Well Reports, Operational alerts and lesson learnt.

• Monitors daily drilling operations according to safety and quality control standard, environmental regulations.

• Track Time Vs Depth Curve and provides technical and engineering support to drilling operations.

• Generate and review daily 5 days look-ahead plan for drilling operations and prepare load out list of material requirement accordingly to avoid rig waiting and down time.

• Track, monitor and report the Daily Time Break Down activity, highlighting any Non Productive Time (NPT) and properly define and allocated these NPT and analyze the NPT and prepare reports including lessons learnt.
• Execution of all drilling activities and well testing activities in conjunction with Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Supervisor as per the Drilling Programme.

• Preparation of Scope of Work for various services and tangibles.

• Plan & co-ordinate with the different rigs operating in the region, Supply / Logistics of equipment and material requirements and assist with all necessary support.

• Maintain records of all the documents and reports.

• Track and monitor NPTs / Downtime and prepare reports.
