Currently handling all LCL/FCL/ projects exports going out from, JHB, DBN, CPT.
Liaising directly with the agents and clients.
Negotiating and assisting with rates, quotes, estimates.
Arranging transport expediting the loads, with transporters. Confirming RFQ rates with co-loaders.
Arranging the customs entry. Working on ship shape. Pulling docs into shipshape.
Registration and working on tango from A to Z. doing a complete file, updating clients daily,
doing certificates, arranging inspections, dealing closely with the co-loaders and
ensuring that the best service is given to our customers.
Doing B2B shipments, Consol shipments, Direct shipments, for LCL
Doing invoicing on tango and adding reserves, Cost Control, updating reports, posting cost.
Monitoring events, Timeliness, KPI and making sure that all activities are completed with the required
Timeframe. Making full use of the system and doing all work Via Tango. Emails, EDI, Bookings.
Duties: Handling a file from A - Z. FCL and LCL, Project cargo
Estimates and quotes - Reefer - Haz - consolidations - abnormal cargo
Doing costing on over 500 line items on Excel and EMS
Doing full processing of docs, liaising with shipping lines
Customs clearance - RCG
Arranging packing and transport, warehousing, lashing and strapping, fumigation
Dealing directly with the clients
Processing of Bol, certificate, NPA docs, as well as country restrictions
Invoicing - queries
Couriers of shipping docs
Procurement:
Get supplier pricing, BB dates, as well as marketing new products
Placing orders and tracking of goods.
Bookings, load schedules, Warehousing, packing labeling
Do shipping docs, Certs, as well as country restrictions
Follow up with deliveries, packing list, update accordingly
Handling Groupage containers
