Assisting Anesthesia and Internal - Med Doctors, and implementing orders written, referring the patient to other specialty clinics, booking all referrals for Internal Medicine
Checking packages going to admission department.
Checking the clinic schedule, opening slots, over booking,
accepting walk -ins and add-on patients
Educating patients and families pre-operatively. On fasting instructions, admission procedure, help to reduce patient and family anxiety about surgery and anesthesia by giving them education materials
Assessing patient’s pre-operative and preparing them for surgeries.
Assisting anesthetist Dr with patients round pre-operative.
Assessing patient post-operative, care plan, teaching, evaluation and discharge planning
Skilled in the following procedures: dressing, suction, administering medication, stoma care, chest tube, tracheostomy care, CVC line/PICC, VAC therapy.
