• Review Primavera based Baseline Schedules, Updated Construction Schedules, submitted by various Contractors for Ongoing Projects.
• Communicate problems noticed in the Schedules to the respective Contractor’s Planning Engineer and follow-up corrective actions.
• Submit review with management and get approval.
• Follow-up Project Progress and demand for Remedial Action Plan from the contractor if necessary.
• Review the request of the Extension of Time limit (EOT) submitted by the contractor.
• Review other claims submitted by the Contractor.
• Prepare Schedules, Manpower Histogram and S Curve for new tender submissions.
• Prepare Design Schedules in MS Project for internal use of Design unit for new Projects and follow-up.
• Alert the Management on all construction Project milestones & follow-up Civil Defense & Other Approvals.
• Visiting Construction site, discuss & resolve issues with contractor’s Planning Engineer.

• Prepare Technical and Commercial Bids for various Projects invited through open tendering process by organizations like Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Gas, Ras Gas, QAFCO, QAPCO and QCHEM etc.
• Preparation and update of Project Schedules, in Primavera or MS-Project for new and ongoing Projects.
• Preparation of Histogram and ‘S’ Curve for the Client.
• Handling the Post submission technical and commercial clarifications required by clients.
• Project Planning and Management of awarded Projects. Projects handled included:
o Installation of various machines in the Workshop of Nakilat Damen Shipyard, Qatar
o Erection of Shaded Car Parking for Amenity Center at D Gas Station in Dukhan
• Responsible for Materials Division - Preparation of Commercial and Technical bid Proposals, Locating appropriate (local agents or foreign) supply sources, Confirmation of Technical Specifications, Cost and Time Schedule, Ordering and Delivery Follow-up, liaise with shipping agencies and ensuring safe delivery at Customer indicated Destination.

• Responsible for providing Planning & Scheduling support to Asset teams and Engineering Department.
• Responsible for developing Long term and medium term Integrated Activity Plans for the Operations group.
• Assisting in continuous improvement of Asset performance by developing and implementing systems and measures aligned with benchmarking and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve pacesetter performance.
• Supervise, guide & develop own staff and Qatari graduates in achieving department objectives and attain required competency for their respective position.

• Responsible for All Job Description items mentioned under Area Planner.
• Support & provide Business direction to site based Area Planner and Area Schedulers on day-to-day basis.
• Interface / coordinate with Project Engineering, Construction Engineering, Well Engineering and Well Services to ensure proper update, scheduling and integration of all activities, optimize plan and minimize interruption in the production of Oil & Gas.
• Organize planning meetings and produce effective 2 yearly and 90-day integrated activity plans.
• Provide input to Operations Team for Integrated Production Plan & Short Term Production Forecast based on oil deferment activities from 2 yearly IAP and 90day plan.
• Participate, lead and Follow-up on Major Shutdown coordination meetings with Area Planner and Produce Final Shutdown Plan and Shutdown booklet.
• Coordinate and Organize Pre-Shutdown meeting for Main Oil Line (MOL) Shutdown affecting different Assets, companies and follow-up on key issues with all participants.
• Prepare and issue confirmed MOL Shutdown Plan. Include in the 90-day plan and IPP.
• Follow-up Integrated Activity Planning compliance & produce Monthly KPIs from SAP.

• Ensure integrity of all Rotating, Static, Instrument and Electrical equipment in the field by planning and follow-up of all maintenance activities.
o Review Condition monitoring reports on critical equipments (Pumps & Compressors) with craft supervisors and plan major overhauls. Optimize by alignment with unit PMs.
o Review all correctives with Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument supervisors, prioritize & plan.
• Integrate Engineering Construction, Pipeline maintenance, Infrastructure, Well engineering and Well Services activities with maintenance plan to produce an effective 14-day plan every week agreed through 14-day planning meetings.
• Organize Pre Shutdown meetings and produce optimized and Integrated Station Shutdown plan.
• Follow-up IAP compliance & produce weekly KPIs.
• Support 3 day planning & provide business direction to Area Scheduler on day-to-day basis.
• Maintain Asset register in SAP by raising update request with SAP team leader.
